Im having the same pain! My doc says that it might get better once the nerves get used to the lack of padding. Until then I'll haul my U shaped pillow around like Linus and his blankie.

I had my DS done 9/12. I’ve always been hot natured, like shorts in winter. I’ve had my first “cold flash” this week. It’s been nice. LOL. I hope you have the same luck. BTW I had my procedure at Rex in Raleigh, where are you going to?

I am having a devil of a time remembering to take my vitamins. I’m 6 days post surgery and for the life of me the mid day stuff just slips my mind. Which phone apps do you use to remind you to take your vitamins?? I’m using myfitnesspal to record the liquids and foods but I don’t see a way to remind me to take the “meds”. TIA Carol

I feel your pain. I'm on day three of 7. You are not a failure, a failure would be to give up. Be strong, forgive yourself, move on, and you got this!

I'm on day 3 of the 7 day liquid diet. I just keep reminding myself that this is for my future self and that without doing this I won't have much of a chance at a quality life. I'm quite proud that I haven't gotten my hangry tongue out yet. Its a battle but we can do it!

DS for me on Sept 12!!!!! The no food diet starts Sept 5. I'm not thrilled about it, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

I've been lurking around here for a while, but now that I have my date (Sept 12, 2018) Its time to get down to business!!! I'm excited and scared to death too. From post surgery experience, how soon after surgery can I hope to be off diabetes medicine?

I am seeing Dr. Sharpe myself. Its been a LONG time in making my decision, but I am finally in the short rows in getting to the actual surgery. I've been so impressed with Rex!
