I think I could have used a whole day in bed today!

I’m 30 days post op today and down 28 pounds. I’m still tired a lot and feel like I the protein shakes help with that. I’ve been thinking I’m hungry constantly but now I’m wondering if it’s thirst. I’m not even getting half my water in.

Sept. 8th & 9th Gastric Bypass surgery.

I just got the bypass done yesterday. I’m on my second day in the hospital. So far it’s just a lot of discomfort. Like really bad cramps all over my belly area. -
I went though everything and was approved about 5 years ago. Something told me it wasn’t for me. I cancelled and tried for a few years on my own. Now I’m scheduled for Sept 7. I’m getting nervous and having doubts, but I know as I get older it’s way harder to lose weight and I’m starting to see my health affected. This is the right time for me.
