I feel like my progress is kinda slow even though my family tells me it isn’t. I’m just glad the scale is still moving in the right direction. ?

  12. Took the test strips and turns out I am in ketosis.
  13. This will be my third week Thursday.
  14. At this point I’ll probably get the strips to be sure.
  15. I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis. Effects my face, scalp, and ears. Dry skin is a problem I have but this rash isn’t from dry skin. I followed an extremely low carb diet pre op. Stuck to protein first and good fats so somewhat of a Keto diet I suppose. Post op I followed the shakes, and liquids. My mouth becomes dry now, and there’s this constant like metallic taste I have. I’m constantly sipping either water or sugar free Powerade. The rash itself is red spots, itchy across my chest extending back on my shoulders and on my back. Thrush? That’s a mouth issue. Skin folds aren’t an issue in my chest? I don’t have wrinkles. I’m aware of blood thinner bruises I had those when I was given the injections to take after my c section.
  16. Has anyone gone into Ketosis at 2 weeks out from surgery? I haven’t bought the strips yet as I haven’t even thought about Ketosis because I’ve been focusing on maintaining with the diet. I have what looks to be a Keto rash and my breath smells like all the time now. Dr told me to monitor the rash and although he didn’t say anything about Keto rash it looks exactly like the pics I’ve seen online. Anyone else have this issue throughout their journey?
  17. So excited I’m on to solids now. What apps do you guys use to monitor food intake?
  18. Lunch for me currently. I’m two weeks out rny and my cravings are there but I’m working past them tryna stick to the plan. On stage two, so I blended this smoothie using the protein water and it’s so good !
  19. Surgery was on the 1st. Had a little too much nausea so I was kept an extra day but it looks like I’ll be going home today! Good luck to all of you still waiting. Remember to walk walk walk. The gas pains are no joke I promise.
  20. Surgery was supposed to be soon but there was an emergency so now I’m waiting for that patient to finish up and then it’s my turn! I’m so excited and nervous. I just wanna wake up on the other side happy and healthy because I’m doing this for my kids.
