  1. wihtout thinking twice ....would do it again.
  2. I will try getting more water down. I am still losing and not gaining ....so it is still good.:tongue2:
  3. How are you? Just a little worried for ya.
  4. I lost eight (in the liquid stage) then gained six back when I was told to eat real food. My doctor does not put any Fluid in the band when it is placed. Is that why I am not losing? I am trying to watch what I eat. I started excercising 30-45 min on the treadmill. He will not put any fluid in until I am four weeks post op. Is that normal? He is a very conservative doctor. Is there anything else I can try?
  5. my doc said two weeks , then back to what you where doing before.
  6. I am feeling great. My doc said it was okay to exercise, just wanted to know if anyone else's doctor says the same. Thanks for your input.
  7. I have been belching and gassing too. I was also banded on the 28th of April. I guess it is a cycle and I am glad that I have a private office to do it in.
  8. I was able to get out yesterday for little then came home and took a nap. Went out today for about half an hour and did not have to nap when I got back. I was on clear liquids for two days and started all liquids yesterday. I will start mushies on Sunday. I am looking forward to it but know that I probably will eat mostly scrambled eggs (and try to stay away from the carbs). Your band is going to let you make the wrong choices. You have made it this far keep the will power up ....your first fill will be here sooner than you think.:cool2:
  9. It is a little weird being able to feel that all going on. My doctor says that it is just gas and will eventually subside.:cool2: Still not really hungry just eating to shakes and some Jello and of course Water (as much as I can get down).
  10. The second day was the worst so far. Last night we raised my side of the bed by folding a thick sleeping bag and putting it under my side of the mattress. I slept like a baby....until about 8 this morning. Way better than the 1,4 and 5 o'clock wake ups the night before. I going to venture to the store and get some gas x for this constant gas today. Dont worry I am not driving my sis is here helping me through recovery. Maria
  11. I was banded on the 28th and that is my biggest complaint is the gas and burping. Let it come out naturally or I heard it can be very painful. Maria
  12. How is everyone else? I have a bad day yesterday. Today most of the swelling has gone down and I feel fairly normal. I do not feel like eating much. I was on Clear liquids through yesterday. Today I am on liquids until Sunday when I can go to soft foods. Hope everyone is doing well. Maria
  13. My family has been on a lifestyle change since the 18th of January. The five of us have lost 132 lbs. :thumbup:I have lost 29. I get that same response of "just keep doing what your are doing". So tired of everyone voicing their opinions about my body!
  14. I have been on a week diet of shakes twice a day and only Protein at dinner. Today, I started liquids only and will do that until midnight Sunday. I will try to post as soon as I can after surgery. I want everyone to know as much as they can about the process. I hope to have a picture posted in a year that has the disclaimer "results not typical"
