  1. I already have my gallbladder out. Needed to be removed a few years ago so I don’t have to worry about that part.
  2. How’s is day one liquid diet going for you?? I’m sooo hungry lol. It also doesn’t help that I’m PMSing but oh well. I think I’m going to bed early today ??
  3. Me too!!! My surgery is scheduled for 8/3 but my surgeon still hasn’t gotten insurance approval. I hope they hear from them soon and we can carry on as planned. Good luck to us tomorrow!
  4. I have a date but no insurance approval yet. I called Monday and they told me that they should be hearing from insurance soon, so they went ahead and reserved 8/3 for me. I’m really hoping things fall into place soon.
  5. Thanks for your input! You son sounds a lot like mine. I think that’s why I want to wait until I’m closer to surgery date. I feel there is no need to ruin him summer. Good luck to you and I’m glad your kids can already see a difference!
  6. Hi there, Like many of you I’m a parent. I have a 9 year old and a 7 year old. My oldest is worrier by nature, therefore I haven’t mentioned the surgery in front of them. I think I’ll wait until a couple of days before and share it with them. The question is what should I tell them? How do I explain it in a way that doesn’t make them worry about me. Obviously I’m their mom and they don’t see my imperfections so I’m worried they won’t understand why. I hope I’m making sense, thanks for your input!!
  7. How awesome! Congratulations!!
  8. Wow ? what an awesome loss! Keep up the good work!
  9. I’m wondering from those who have reached or are near goal, please tell me cellulite goes away?! I have two dimples on face but I’m done with them on my thighs!! ?
  10. Hi there, I’m meeting the surgeon for the first time tomorrow. I went through Beaumont weight control center. Finished my 6 months requirements. Had blood work done and an EKG. This will be the group meeting followed by individual meeting. What should I expect? Is this just protocol or is he going to ask for more tests or requirements? I’m just really hoping to get my surgery date soon because I’m a teacher and would love to take advantage of y summer break while on full liquids and puréed foods. Thanks for your input!!
