While this article isn't specific to ketosis-breath or "camel breath", it does offer suggestions that may help. Spoiler alert: no mints of any kind, they just mask the problem and make it worse. Does this mean you're destined to chewing on parsley leaves all day? Maybe.

Good thing you're not a woman. Camel toe and camel breath. That's an embarrassing combination.

I told everyone I had surgery to correct a stomach ulcer. People didn’t question it and have been really sympathetic to my dietary issues. You are right that you shouldn’t have to explain, but unless you want to tell everyone to f$&@ off when you go out to lunch or dinner, it’s a lot easier to come up with a cover story.

I'd go with fake procedure. My fake procedure is going to be a hernia repair. At work, I am the only female, so I'm going to say it is lady business related. That'll shut em up real quick. : )

Rileyjay, I got my sleeve 7/11 and am having the same issues. I take BariMelts for multi vitamin, biotin and iron. I have different brands for B12 and calcium chews. But they all taste awful. I find the soluble pills are least terrible if you take them with a swig of OJ and let them melt a bit in your mouth with the juice before you swallow. At this point, I haven’t bothered trying to mix them into smoothie bc I’m consuming such small volumes of liquids.

My bariatric surgeon told me that the super high protein shakes, waters etc were overkill. He said our bodies would absorb on average 20-30g at a time and sice we were to be taking in a steady supply of protei throughout the day that more than that at a sitting was unnecessary.

Actually, I did a comparison between Costco and Sam's Club and Sam's is cheaper per drink. But, Costco is cheaper than Walmart, interestingly enough...

    Sam's Club - $16.66/12 = $1.39 each
    Costco - $28.99/18 = $1.61 each
    Walmart - $7.99/4 = $2.00 each
These prices are non-sale prices pulled today from their websites.

My favorite is the chocolate Premier Protein Shake...

I very scientifically bought and tasted about 10 different products...had my family taste them, too.
Premier Protein, hands down, was the most tolerable (to us, anywho)
    Some were truly gagworthy.
    Best Wishes!

I love premier protein. They have it at Walmart but the Costco price is better. More flavors

Your body can only absorb about 25-30g of protein at a time, so going beyond that in one meal isn’t going to help. I recommend the premier protein shakes 3x a day. They are only 11oz and go down easy.
