  5. Lol that's not what that means at all. You are really foolish. You are making yourself look stupid. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. There are lots of people who are gender fluid or somewhere on the spectrum. I wouldn't laugh, it could be one of your friends or family members. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. I think you might be right. Scrambled eggs, tuna w/ a bit of mayo. It's a little better if I mix it w/ avacado but still very uncomfortable. I had a hiatal hernia fixed as well. Could that be part of the issue? Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Me too. I did call the doctor. They acted like it was normal lol. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. The research actually shows that drinking liquids with meals does not effect nutrient absorption. Your intestines are very long and effective at pulling the nutrients out of food. The issue with drinking fluids during meals is that it doesn't stay in your stomach as long and so you can feel hungrier sooner. This was also a question that I asked my surgeon. 10. I'm just starting on soft foods but they really hurt to swallow. I'm chewing a lot. I never was a person who drank anything while I was eating (I would chug a bunch of water about 4 times a day) but now I can't get through a few bites without washing it down! Is it normal for it to hurt? Will that go away? Am I totally sabotaging myself by drinking while eating? Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. This is exactly how I feel. Sometimes I wish my abdomen could be see through for a moment so I could just see what's up in there. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I agree. I won't post there, actually I had not even noticed the gendered groups before now. But I think it is potentially closed minded. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I think it is silly to restrict to men and women only. People are people. When you do that you might really be missing out. Don't assume that a woman (or man) might not have insight into your specific topic. We have spouses, siblings, etc that help us gain experience in all sorts of ways. 17. I didn't even risk it. I started taking a dose of miralax three days after the surgery. I tried to take the dulcolax but I really can't swallow pills without pain. I'm 3 weeks out and I mix a half dose of miralax in with my 20 oz of crystal light and drink it throughout the day. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I am 3 weeks post op today and I am terrified that my stomach will stretch out again too. I am afraid that I won't know it is happening. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. It's wonderful that you are feeling so good! Congrats! Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. I had my sleeve and hiatal hernia repair on May 16 (also an umbilical hernia repair). It was kind of weird feeling to take a deep breath but nothing to be worried about. Just use that plastic gizmo they give you to practice taking deep breaths and it gets better fast. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
