  9. I am feeling the exact same way. I'm depressed because I am having issues drinking any fluids. Did well with popsicles but the doctor told me it's false telling on how full I am. I even made protein filled and she said I need to go back to drinking it through a medicine cup. I can only get 1 ounce down every 30 minutes. This is my frustrating part. I hope it gets better and I hope the same for you as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Thank you for stating this. I'm only post op 10 days and it's hard to see my family eat whatever they want. I am struggling with barely getting protein down and water, while they consume spaghetti, burgers, fries, etc. I know I did this for me, but the support I have is not always supportive of my decision. 13. I was taking sips out of a one ounce medicine cup which would last five sips per cup. I tried leaning my head back to let it slide down my throat and the pain still occurs. I'm not sure what to do next or what is possibly causing this other than I do have a hiatial hernia. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. We are surgery buddies. I had my procedure the same day. I am experiencing the same issues. If I eat popsicles it doesn't give me that awful pain, but if I sip water or my protein shakes I get that tightness like I swallowed nothing but air. I see my doctor on Thursday and hopefully will get some help as to what I can do or expect and share what I have learned. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. Thank you for the advice. I am post op 5 days and the day after and on i have had hiccups. I try to get the daily doses of protein but I am not hungry. I think do my 1/4 cup in 15 minutes and I struggle getting the other 1/4 down. The only way I don't feel pressure in my stomach area or chest is when I suck on popsicles. Is this normal? I go back to the doctor on Wednesday but I don't want to get on the naughty list. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app
