  6. I just had my vsg surgery on July 10th. I have been feeling super emotional about drinking/eating and I guess I'm writing this post because I just want to not feel alone. It hurts so much to drink that I don't want to drink anything. Everybody around me keeps getting on me about my fluids/protein intake and I know it's because they care about me and my health but it's really starting to get annoying because they don't understand how much pain I'm in. At this point I rather not drink or eat anything all day even though I know it's bad for me. Did anybody else go through this? Please tell me it gets better and that this is just for a while. I'm in tears almost everyday because I'm so frustrated and I'm starting to have negative feelings and regrets about my surgery. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Yeah I had never had any surgery before so this has been all new to me. Today is the first day I woke up and haven't felt like crap. Lol my pain is fine except my right side by one of the incisions it feels like there is something cramping or fluid is moving around under there. May just be gas not sure but once I go to the doctor I'm sure they will know. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Yes that's the exact same things going on here. Hopefully it goes away after a while because it's awful and makes me not wanna drink anything. Congrats on your journey surgery buddy. [emoji4] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Thanks for the advice. I had a vsg and I've been so worried about my intake of fluids so I don't end up back in the hospital that I didn't get that the pain was when I was drinking till yesterday. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. So I had my surgery last Wednesday (7/10/18). I've been able to keep everything down and I'm not nauseous but when ever I drink just the littlest bit of something the top of my stomach hurts and it feels stuck in my chest. Does anybody else have this problemand if so do you have solutions? I'm going to the doctors Thursday but my doctor doesn't have the best bed side manners so I thought I might just check here first.
