  1. Was there a medical reason that you chose the band vs. sleeve?
  2. My program has me on 2 Oz of shake, yoghurt, puréed soup, cottage cheese pudding etc 6 times a day for a month. Then soft food for a month. I would go back to extremely soft food. How much are you eating at a sitting too. I’m just 11 days out.
  3. Are you still on the painkillers? The painkillers always make me kind of nauseated. I expect you are since you are still having pain. Hopefully as you heal more, you will be able to take something else like Tylenol. I hope you start to feel better soon! HW 255 CW 234 GW 160 GS 5/9/18
  4. I’m 10 days postop and we went to a Japanese restaurant. My family had sushi and beef bulgogi. I had the broth from some dumpling soup and then I had mashed up tofu. I should have had the meal before the soup. It was nice to spend time as a family and have a night out. It was important to me that we would still be able to have family nights out.
  5. Thank you Christie! That’s so good to hear! I’m making some of my meals peanut butter now to get a few more calories and because it sticks in my stomach more. Feeling a bit better today. My plan has me at about 250 cals a day and yesterday I got it up to about 350 and felt better.
  6. I called my office and they said that being hungry in the first month was definitely a possibility and happens. (I’m on less than 200 Calories a day). She said that I just have to get through this month so my stomach can heal. When I start eating real food I will be satisfied. I am choosing to view hunger as sign of serious weight loss. In related news, I lost 3 lbs yesterday. [emoji23]
  7. OMG, me too! I’m freaked out that I’m hungry. Started last night after a 2 mi walk. I was sleeved on 5/9. Going to call my surgeon as soon as they open. HW 255 SW 234 CW 230
  8. Try the Bariatastic app. It’s great. And you should ask your program for diet goals, the nutritionist should be able to help
  9. I am 5/9 date too. I’m doing ok with fluids, but don’t really want to eat. Did you ask your dr for some zofran or a scopamine patch? I still have a patch from the hospital and I think it’s helping.
  10. Same here. Surgery on 5/9/18 and came home about 4 lbs heavier. It’s fluid weight. Just keep drinking and stay hydrated and you will clear that.
