@deece69 I can’t do milk either... is your pre-op diet for 2 weeks before surgery?

Hey everyone! Just trying to get an idea of what a sample pre-op diet looks like! I know it can vary from surgeon to surgeon... Was it a certain amount of calories? What types of foods? How soon did you start it before surgery? How much did you lose from your pre-op diet? Thanks in advance for any advice given! :)

I had a breast lift in 2012 (I worked for the plastic surgeon at the time) - I went from a DD to a D cup just from the lift procedure alone.

I tried to add “Sleeve”to mine but it won’t let me edit!

Thats awesome! I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I am still at the beginning of the process (still have 2 nutrition visits, pulmonologist clearance, cardiac clearance, and gastro clearance). But I did get my psych clearance last week. Surgery is scheduled for July 23rd! Maybe we will be surgery buddies!

Did you have any pre-existing conditions or was that the minimum testing required? How was the sleep study?

My doctor is requiring pulmonary clearance but I have no pre-existing conditions like sleep apnea or anything. Did anyone else have to do this? What was required?

I had an OBGYN that when I told her I was going for a consult with a bariatric surgeon she said " Well Fortunately (and unfortunately for you) you're not fat enough for that surgery... " such a snotty tone too. I was frustrated and angry and sad all at the same time. My BMI is clearly within the range and i'm suffering from PCOS and hypothyroidism. Some doctors are just jerks,

Anyone on here have Amerihealth Administrators? I was wondering what your experience was for the approval process of Gastric Sleeve surgery. Also- sorry I’m new on here, forgive me if this is not the right place to post an insurance question!
