Clothes?
I sold some of my nicer clothes on Poshmark. It created a savings account to buy clothes that fit! It’s a pain but there ya go!

You can expect to continue to lose for 6 months if you stay on the plan and exercise as you are. I was 3x and now I am a large after losing 90 lbs in 6 mos.

Best shake???
My BariatricPal nutritionist recommended Premier Protein and I swear by it. Also a life saver if you are having a hard time giving up carbonated drinks are Propel waters. Also very inexpensive at Costco. I have 3 a Day!!!

Propel Water. Zero everything but taste. I was worried about life without diet sodas, but this stuff is my new favorite beverage.

Need some support from people who have had the sleeve
The only pain I had was the gas from expanding my stomach. That was super bad on day one but dissipated a lot by day 2. Coming lately gone by day 6. The most I felt from the actual surgery was some pulling. Had Surg on 4/27.

Good Way to Start the Week
Wonderful! My nutritionist once told me that this surgery was your one and only do-over. Make the most of it!

My journey
I started on this journey in 2015. Got 5 days out from surgery and had to cancel because I got laid off and had to move. Started the process again and started surgery on 3/8. My blood pressure dropped significantly so they stopped. Went in again on 4/27 and the procedure was completed. One of the reasons I had trouble was, although I quit smoking 7 months ago, I had smoked for years. If you smoke please stop. The surgery itself is pretty simple, but not if you have underlying conditions. Now that I am done I am so happy. I have had diabetes and was on 1000 mg Metform and 60 insulin. I am now on 15 insulin only.
