  4. I had GERD and it has progressed to Barrets Esophagus. I was sleeved on 4/12/18. I haven’t had an issue since surgery. I have been able to come off of my meds. I will have an EGD in a few weeks to see how everything is going.
  5. I had surgery on Thursday and returned to work on Monday. It was very tiring but I made it. (I have a desk job.)
  6. I have had issues with constipation too. I have found that taking 3 Colaces a day and two doses of Benefiber M-F keep me regular. I tried to stop the Benefiber and had to start back. (I was the opposite before surgery)

  12. I had sleeve surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Monday. I made it fine.
  13. I am nine weeks out and have been stalled for a little over a week. However the scales have moved today. I am not overeating on the carb side. I actually think I wasn’t getting enough calories. Thanks for all the input everyone!
  14. Good to know! Hopefully my weight loss will start again soon! Congrats on what you have lost so far!
  15. Wow! You have lost a lot of weight! Congrats!
  16. I had surgery on April 12th. I could tolerate a protein shake like that as well. However, I recognized a huge difference when migrating to food. I have tolerated all food very well but I am satisfied with a small amount. I still drink a shake on the way to work every morning. (commute is 40 minutes)
  17. I have lost twenty-four pounds since having surgery on April 12th. I have hit a stall. (I am not discouraged. I will succeed with my weight loss. This is me cheering myself on! I need this some times!) I had this surgery to be healthier for myself and my family. I will continue to eat healthy and keep my journals. I plan on mixing my diet up this week and seeing if that helps. (I am having a hard time eating breakfast due to time constraints at work. I have been drinking a protein shake and having coffee. What do you eat?) Are any of you at a stall?
  18. Bowel movements are few and far between for me. (which is totally different than before surgery) I had to break down and take Milk of Magnesia Sunday. I did not have any progress so I took some more Monday. I thought I was going to die when I did go. Sorry for the TMI!! So I am on Benefiber, Colace, Miralax and Milk of Magnesia.
  19. I actually gained weight last week too. Don't get discouraged! I am not! (at least not yet lol)
  20. I may have to try that. Thank you! Good luck to you as well!
  21. I am four weeks post op. I am having a really hard time getting all of my liquid and protein in. I am not hungry so I don't think about it. I am trying to get on a schedule so that I can do better. Any suggestions?
  22. Nectar Medical is tasteless. It is really good in Crystal Light water mixes.
  23. My surgery was 4/12. I haven't experienced any vomiting or nausea. I am tolerating all foods (that I have tried) well. I started my soft diet today. I am not hungry and just eat when it is time to eat. I haven't had a lot of pain and what I have had has been around the incision sites. I haven't taken any pain medication. The liquid diet was hard. Best Wishes to you!
