  1. Has or does anyone take protein vitamins instead of the shakes, bars, yogurts ect??? I am just over 2 months out and cannot get myself to stomach another protein shake or even the yogurt, I do eat mostly protein like chicken and cheeses and drink plenty of the protein waters, but I still don't think I am getting enough. looking for suggestions on the best vitamin supplement to start taking to help boost. Thanks in advance SD 4/23/2018 SW - 262 CW- 214 GW- 160

    Protein Vitamins instead of shakes?

Thank you all! I have been pretty bad about logging my grams. I eat chicken almost every day, I drink a 15g protein drink every day and a boiled egg every day, other than that I’ve been pretty lazy 🤭 I will start logging again

    Sharp pain on left side

I was having the same pain and over 2 days it increase where it was unbearable to sit at my desk (I’m one month out) so I went to the doctor and they admitted me, I strained the muscles near my stomach and became so dehydrated from being in pain my blood pressure dropped wayyy low. Be careful and call your doctor if you have to! Sleeved 4/23 SW : 262 CW : 226 GW :150

    IM STARVING

I know I sound crazy but I had my vsg Monday 4/23 and today I’m sooooo hungry since I’ve woke up. I’ve already had my protein shake, half of my premier clear protien drink, 8 oz of beef broth, and yogurt. Also plenty of water in between. Why is my stomach constantly growling at me? I don’t feel full or sick after eating any of these items. I can start eating soft foods this coming Tuesday, I just feel like I need something that is going to make me feel a little fuller for a little longer. I so badly want to try softer foods now. No regrets guys!

Congrats! How long has this taken you? Any tips?
  6. I am only a week out as of tomorrow and have lost 19 pounds since the day of surgery 4/23. I weighed myself on Thursday at a loss of 12 pounds and 2 pounds a day since then. I know it won’t always be that way but enjoying it while it lasts [emoji3]

    IM STARVING

Thank you! I am feeling great in such a short period of time. I have learned so much already. It’s different for everyone. I was told that I wasn’t even going to be hungry at all after the procedure. WRONG. I definitely was a little hungry but more so having cravings. I finally realized that all the rumbles and noises going on in my stomach only really happen when I am eating something, not because I am hungry. It seems to be content when I am only sipping on water. Although I am still craving stuff, I try every thing to keep my mind off of it and just keep sipping, and walking. I’m still working on everything myself but again everyone is different and could be the complete opposite for you! Just stay positive and roll with the punches as they come [emoji3] hope that helps

    Any April 2018 Sleevers?!?!

i received surgery on Monday, April 23rd. two days post op and i'm just now trying my premier protein shake for dinner to see how well my stomach takes to it. i was advised to have a chewable multivitamin 2 times daily and a b12, and to start the calcium + D, 6 weeks post op. i feel like i am doing okay, i'm just concerned on not getting enough fluids although i am trying very hard. i did have a hernia repair while they were doing my surgery so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with some of the pains i am having. every sip of water is not comfortable to take down. also not sure if it's normal for my stomach to be growling at me, but not actually feeling like i'm starving. this morning i took my meds and vitamins and threw them up right after, which hasn't happened yet.
