  1. I’m 11 days post op and after week 1 I switched to Herbalife shakes. I do two shakes a day with extra protein ( 30 grams each). They are one of the best tasting protein shakes I have had and i did Herbalife before the surgery. Haven’t had any issues with their shakes as of yet.
  2. It could be dumping. Im 5 days post op as well and from what I know usually weeks 1-2 are liquids only and sugar free.
  3. Im averaging 50-65 grams of protein. I like chicken broth it has been what has held me up these days but i definitely want to try pho broth!
  4. So today Im 5 days post op. I can’t really bend and have to move slowly because one of the incisions is causing alot of pain but it has gotten better. Today i weighed myself and I lost 18 lbs in 5 days! Im really in shock and cannot believe it. My rings no longer fit me. Im drinking 2 shakes a day trying to do 3. Drinking lots of Water and I eat chicken broth once a day. I have Jello but only really ate it one time. I also have been having sugar free popsicles which have helped me with nausea ( no more than 2). I feel good so far I feared that because of the lack of calories i would be weak but surprisingly I get up early and have lots of energy! I can’t wait to start going to the gym!! I have been having alot of cravings of even stuff i wouldn’t eat before. I think once i can eat food i would be good in making the healthier choices but being around food and seeing food when you cant eat it boyyyyy it is a test! But, seeing the scale today has kelt me motivated and I will not ruin this! P.s What did you guys eat/drink your first two weeks??
  5. I wasn’t required a pre-op diet either. Nothing to eat after 12 night of surgery and 12 oz of a carbonated drink the morning of.
  6. Im one day post op (2/20/2018) And I noticed my largest incision where my stomach was pulled out of was very painful. After i took a look at it, I noticed it was dented in, is this normal!? And how long were your incisions no longer painful?
