I think it would be neat to have like a everyday person to check in with about failures, and improvements. Also to get tips from. What does other members think? Maybe through email. And later in a month or so come back and post the success the two have done together.

Let's try to get together with husbands and boyfriends and have a night out sometime. Anything to party out. I love people and groups.

I am going back on 2/5 for my second fill. I was banded 12/22. The first fill has just not done anything. I hope I fell some restrictions with the the next one.

My doc promises he will fill me every 2 weeks until I get some real restriction so I hope to lose something soon. The holidays are over and depression has set in. Did I really spend $20K for 10 lbs? I spent $15K for 7 lbs. I know what you mean. I am getting so mad. I had first fill last week, and go back next week for the second. I am going to keep going till I lose more. Forget turtle. I'm a snail.

I had my first fill Tuesday. I still feel hungry. I have talked to a few friends about this, and they do not have the band. But, they say you have to get over what is in your head. I mean telling yourself to not eat. Well excuse me.....but I got over weight from eatting all the time when I wasn't really hungry, I just wanted to eat. Now I have the band, and I guess I was expecting a miracle to get in my head and make me lose that feeling. I guess that would be called willpower. where do you buy that at?

My first fill was yesterday. I was banded 12/22. 7lbs. in one month. I thought it would be more. Oh well. He did the fill to 1.8cc I hope this takes away some hunger pains. I don't know about anybody else.....but I do this. I see skinny people that make me sick, and I say to my self, wow I wish I could add 5lbs to that person, or 10lbs to that person, or people that are pretty and overly skinny let's just give them 20lbs.:cake: Yeah, I guess I am probably sick in the head.

Go with Spivak. I have never met him or talked to any of his staff. But if you read the board, you will see he is very much a great doctor. I did not do my research before I chose Dr.Spiegal. It is hard to get any help from him or is staff. Please remember that. Do the homework on him.

Tammy....You are doing great!!!! I have only lost 8lbs. and I am having to struggle everyday. I have not rec'd my first fill. Not till next Wed. I am so looking forward to it.

Just joined the group yesterday. I like the post. I was banded 12-22-05 by Spiegal. So far 8lbs. Ready for more to fall off. It is coming off slower than I thought it would. Spring/Woodlands, TX area

I just want to see if anybody else has had this problem. 1. You do a self pay and the company mails the Dr. a check for $15,000, and then the staff tells you, you should of asked for $16,000 to cover the fee that they are suppose to be paying. 2. You go for the surgery, lets not forget I payed the extra out of my pocket to the staff, and then right before being brought into the surgery your asked to pay what you already payed the day before. OOPS, his staff messed up again. And he almost didn't do the surgery after I have been given the medicine to put me to sleep. 3. Your told to come back in three weeks for the first fill. Sorry his staff says, they are booked. Well, I tryed to make the appt. when I came back after the first week for the staff to look at me after the surgery.(Not the Dr.to look at me, the staff) I'm told no problem getting in for the fill, just call when it is time and make the appt. Well we know that is not true now. I make the appt. for a month and couple of days after the surgery. 4. I get a call today, we have to cancell your appt. for the day that you were going to come in. He is over booked I take it. I need to come at a later date. Can anybody out there guess who this is? And has anybody out there had this PROBLEM?
