Started Soft Food Stage - don't feel after a meal
Hi all, today is my 1 year anniversary. I am down 57 lbs, and all my issues have resolved. I feel completely healthy with absolutely no eating or "exiting issues" anymore. I still weight train 3 times per week and run 5 kms 2 times per week. AMAZING that I can do this. This is the best i have felt since I was teenager. Best decision I ever made!

Foul flatulence and stools
Hi again. The meds only helped as long as I was taking them. As soon as I stopped the problem came back. Is this devrom safe? How long can you stay on it? Is it for life?

Foul flatulence and stools
Thank you for this information. I too, have begun to eliminate foods I think are the culprit. Sadly the very first thing i stopped and started to just test was COFFEE. It breaks my heart that I can't drink it anymore but I finally know one thing that's causing me problems. It's probably a good thing that I can't have it anymore, coffee is bad so this ends up to be a good thing. I will be watching my food intake and seeing which affects me the most and continue the elimination. I will be reading more about SIBO as well. Thank you for your post, I appreciate it.

Foul flatulence and stools
Thank you for this. My Dr put me back on prescription meds. He said this shouldn't have gone on so long. Two weeks of strong meds and hopefully this will clear up.

Low energy
Yes. the homestretch. I can't believe were I am. I haven't been this small since my early teens. Oh yes, because of the quick weight loss and my age, I definitely have loose skin. But I am working out and trying my hardest to fix this. I know it won't completely tighten up but I'm ok with that. I find it has been easy, mind you I also work to lose weight. I don't leave it up to the surgery. I work out 5 times per week, drink lots of water and really watch my intake. If you use the surgery as a helpful tool, you'll be successful. How are you making out? Are you feeling better?

Low energy
Sorry, for the late reply. I am now 4.5 months after surgery and everything has fallen into place. Tons of energy, still losing weight. I'm 11 lbs from my goal weight. I have started back at the gym a couple of months ago, and now that we are on COVID lockdown, I am working out at home. I have so much energy that I can't help but exercise. Things are great! I hope things will as smooth for you as they did for me.

Low energy
Hi all, I am 6 weeks post op and have lost 25 pounds. I find I have very low energy by mid morning and this lasts until around 4 pm. I am taking my vitamins and iron religiously, eating the right foods and making sure I have my required protein. I think I may be losing too fast, considering I am a low BMI (33) when I started. I wanted to start back at the gym by week 6 but all I want to do right now is curl up in bed and sleep. Has anyone else gone through this?

Foul flatulence and stools
I am only 6 weeks out, but I have the same problem. I talked to my surgeon and he prescribed Cotazym ECS, Amylase & Protease & Lipase. This is very effective, but I also have to keep my intake at very low fat and sugar. Try this, it helped me.

Started Soft Food Stage - don't feel after a meal
That's exactly what I was thinking.....that new foods/textures is a shock to the stomach. I'm sure it will pass as i move towards solids and my stomach becomes accustomed to the foods.
