  1. I have broth, SF popsicles, SF jello, protein shakes and a lot of water! I even bought a mini fridge to keep in my bedroom so my brother in law who lives with me and my hubby doesn’t have anything of mine! Is there anything else I might need?? I started my go bag for the hospital but so unsure of what to bring. I keep hearing that I won’t need much but don’t know what the most important things are! Thank you so much for your kind words!!
  2. Thank you!! I’ve been waiting for this day since November so I am definitely ready! Now just figuring out how to prepare myself for the recovery period!
  3. Hello July buddies! My sleeve date is July 2nd! I have been doing a modified liquid diet since my program doesn’t require it. I have 4 1/2 days until my surgery and everyday I get more and more nervous! But I can’t wait!!
  4. I’m so so excited! It’s just around the corner! I actually do not have to do a preop liquid diet for my program however I decided to do one myself. I have heard from others on this site that those who have the liquid diet before end up transitioning easier. It is definitely more difficult than I thought. Being at work with everyone enjoying their snacks and chocolate has made it worse, but I’m sticking to it and I’m going to get through it! I’m anxious but so ready! Time went by so fast! And you are going to be right behind me!! I felt the same way, That I was going to miss something or something is going to stop my process! But nothing is and nothing will for either of us! I just had my preop class today and even got my soap for the night before and day of shower! That some how made it seem so real!! I can’t wait for you to join me in this process! We will help each other along the way! ??
  5. Hello everyone! I am a July sleever as well!! My date is on July 2nd! I’m so excited and anxious!! It’s been a long time coming and it is now just around the corner. My program doesn’t require a preop diet. However I have read that those who do the diet have an easier transition afterwards so I am doing a version myself! Can’t wait to go on this journey will you guys! ?
  6. Can’t wait to be apart of this group! I have 10 days and I will be able to share my progress as well! Good luck to all those who just had your surgeries! I’m right there behind you and I know you will do great!

  19. Thanks! It definitely has been a process! I actually started at a different hospital, got through the entire process and was about to get my date when I found out my insurance doesn’t cover it at that hospital so I had to start all over at a new hospital! So I’m so excited for it to seem like the whole process was all worth it!
  20. Congrats on your bypass! How are things going for you? I’m so excited! I know I will struggle sometimes but the excitement of this whole process is bigger than the nerves.. for now anyways! Lol I think once my date gets closer the nerves will definitely kick in!
