  1. Yes I have been taking it at night. I’m getting better, just drinking more warm liquids for now
  2. Yes I was lying flat [emoji30]
  3. So I’m two weeks post-op and had no major complications, just had gas pain first week. This morning I woke up choking on bile and had to run and spit it up, my throat is on fire as well. I just realized that I must of accidentally rolled on to my stomach, but I’m not sure how long I was sleeping on it. Has this happened to anyone and what did you do?
  4. They contacted me at the last minute to come in yesterday after having the authorization escalated. I ended up having surgery 5:30pm instead of 10am but I’m truly grateful. I’m in the hospital now having a lot of gas pain which is expected but the surgeon advised the surgery went beautifully. I’m so grateful to be part of this community and now I can officially say I’m part of the losers bench [emoji1487]
  5. I found out this afternoon that my surgery is most likely going to be rescheduled for another day because my Authorization was canceled! My lovely coordinator from OBAND never updated the surgery date with United Healthcare. I literally ate a bunch of junk food and cried myself to sleep. My blood pressure went up so high I ended up waking up with a massive headache. They told me to still show up to the hospital and see if a miracle happened and I get a new authorization [emoji24][emoji22].
  6. My surgery is May 3rd and I’m officially nervous and having a lot of anxiety. I have been having trouble sleeping and having weird dreams. I honestly can’t wait for this to be over because my nerves are getting the best of me. [emoji30]. I’m I the only one?
  7. My surgery is May 3rd but I wasn’t put on a liquid diet before surgery ??‍♀️ . He told me it’s based on my BMI , but I’m wondering if I should still do it even if it’s just for a few days before.
  8. I got approved Friday, was called today and given a surgery date of May 3, 2018 [emoji1].
  9. I’m in pompano as well. Who did your sleeve and how are you feeling?
  10. Thanks so much [emoji3]
  11. Took a little over two weeks for me with United Healthcare.
  12. I have been getting lots of rest and drinking lots of water. Trying to keep my temperature down.
  13. Congratulations! Im in Florida, so excited to start my journey[emoji1487]
  14. I’m home sick with the flu, but got some great news that my surgery was approved. I was told I will get a call tomorrow with a date. Now if I can just get rid of this fever ?[emoji855]
  15. Yes I most definitely will!! Thanks for the support [emoji3]
  16. This morning I received a call from UHC asking me if I have a surgery date and telling me about services available to me now and if I do have the surgery. I know my paperwork was submitted last Friday, so does this means I most likely will get approved ? [emoji102]
  17. I went to my PCP and he thought it was a great idea. He referred me to a nutritionist and wrote me a letter as well. It’s been six months and last week I had my last nutritionist visit. Good luck to you in your new weight loss journey [emoji1487]
  18. I’m in Florida and having my surgery performed by Dr. Wizman through Oband. Yes I will be released same day.
  19. I’m in the final stages of getting my Surgery date.. all paperwork have been submitted to my insurance now waiting for approval, but I was told that my procedure will be outpatient and I will be staying at a nearby hotel with a nurse for the first 24 hours. Should I be worried? The sleevers I know personally have all been operated and stayed in a hospital. Any outpatient sleevers out there?
  20. Good luck and speedy recovery!
  21. Yes they submitted my paperwork today as well, but I didn’t get a date yet. I’m trying to prepare myself mentally. I have a very popular surgeon here in Florida Dr. Wizman. Good luck to you as well and hoping we both get approved [emoji3][emoji1487]
