  4. My Bariatric Solutions Dr. Heath Smith did mine in Decatur/Fort Worth, Texas. My insurance doesn't cover bariatric services. I paid $8500 for mine. He is amazing!!!!!! You get a full support system too with a nurse, nutritionist and exercise specialist. I highly recommend him!! My surgery was September 26, 2017. I had gastric sleeve and a hernia repair. Day of surgery weight: 320 Highest weight: 325 Current weight: 241 Height: 5'11" When I started I was in size 2xl. I went shopping today large size 11/12.

  7. I take the Bariatric Fusion chewable and the B12 complex from them as well. 4 multivitamin and 1 b12. At first I was told to take 2 multivitamins in the Am and 2 in the pm, but that upset my stomach. So my doctor said to take one 4 times a day. That helped! Maybe try taking half then wait a little and take the other half.
  8. Walking!!!! It is the only thing that will get rid of it!

  10. My husband and I had been Trying to get pregnant for 2 years. The problem... My cycle was all over the place. One month it was there. The next not. It would even skip 2-3 months. I've had PCOS since I was 12. My doctors kept saying lose weight and that will help. I did research and saw that the sleeve could get rid of PCOS and obviously help lose weight. I said it's worth a shot and is cheaper than IVF if having to go that route. I obviously want to be able to run around with our kids one day and not get winded... I had my surgery September 26, 2017. My cycle came in October. Before that it was July! Since my surgery, I have no PCOS symptoms and have had a period every 26-28 days. Doing the surgery was the best decision I ever made! Focusing on getting healthy to then get pregnant.
  11. At first, I was hesitant to tell anyone other than my immediate family that I was even considering it for fear of getting the "that's the easy way out" answer. I told my husband, mother in law and my boss (obviously because I would need some time off). After getting a gastric sleeve and hernia repair and seeing the results begin, I told everyone! Their shocked reactions pushed me to try harder. Anyone who said that it's not guaranteed and that I could gain it all back, I took their response as as challenge to prove them wrong! So far a success! Starting weight was 320. Highest weight 325. Current weight 242! Haven't been that since middle school. Been bigger all my life. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
