I think that happens to all of us. I am starting to see before and after pictures of women 4 months out that are my size and it’s asking me realize how quickly the weight will come off. A little nerve racking. So much change so quickly

Just got my surgery date today...April 30th is the big day.

Oh I am annoyed. My insurance approved Friday. They got my surgeon’s approval today. But they have to wait to get a signed copy of the approval before they’re call me to schedule. Seriously? We’re waiting on a signed copy in 2018?

That’s good to hear! They do have an orange flavor on amazon but I doubt it’s any better. Those milky shakes are always hard for me so I’m hoping to find a better solution

so my mom had the sleeve 4 years ago and she gave me some bad advice tonight. i found out insurance approved my surgery yesterday so i'm expecting a surgery date on monday. my surgeon only schedules 2-3 weeks out. my mom told me that i don't even need to follow the liquid diet really and definitely not for two weeks because i'm not big enough to have that much fat around my liver and that if they have a opening in say, 10 days, they'll probably book me for it. she said she barely had to do the liquid diet for hers. we also just had a family friend get sleeved last year. her surgeon had an opening and she just went. it happened very quickly.

I haven't tried Isopure, but Premier Clear has a strange consistency to me. Almost slimey or oily.

i heard from my insurance company on friday that i have been approved...just waiting for the surgeon's office to talk and schedule!!

My surgeon’s office schedules the surgery after insurance approves

Every surgeon and hospital is different. I had my last appointment yesterday (tues) and they’re submitting to insurance today. I had a 6 month requirement by my insurance Once approved, their office only schedules 2-3 weeks out. They have to book the OR time they have coming up before they can book further out. Everyone’s different but I’m hoping for surgery at the end of the month

Congrats! My final appointment was today and they are preparing everything to end off to insurance tomorrow! I have bcbs and I heard some people hear in 24 hours and some hear in a week or two. My BMI is just over 40 so hopefully it goes quick Once approved, they schedule approx. 2 weeks out
