  3. Oh man! Thanks so much. I know this is what I have wanted since I found out how Star Jones lost all her weight. I battle my entire life and I am doing this for me but also for the benefit of my 2 year old. He deserves a mom who can play with him for more than 2 mins. I am so grateful for this opportunity and for my new bffs in this forum.
  4. So I had my Gastric bypass surgery July 19th. I am currently on clear liquids and I having the worse time. I did so much research and thought I was mentally prepared for this but it is way more emotionally taxing than I ever expected. I just want to chew. I still cannot identify when I'm hungry and when I'm full. I doubt I'm eating enough. And I feel down mostly at meal time. I know I wanted this surgery for years but it's so hard.

  13. I completely understand. Yesterday I found out that the doctor at my insurance company who is happening my case gas placed it on hold. Idk why my case is on hold as I have submitted all the requirements and inhale been on a supervised diet since Dec 3. I am so disappointed as I know I dnt do it on my own without the wls. I was told by my insurance company that the Dr requires 3 more months of a supervised diet and I'm just heartbroken and depressed over this news. Idk what to do I feel like giving up. 16. I have yet to meet with a bariatric surgeon. How my insurance works is that, I went to my GP he then agreed to start with the insurance for approval and the insurance gave me a list if requirements. I already got my psych and my recommendation from the dietitian. Next week I will see an internist. After I am approved by my insurance then they will sent me to Columbia south America to consult with the bariatric surgeon. I live on a small caribbean island and we do not have a bariatric surgeon here. All my research thus far has been on my own. And using YouTube and this app has been such a help for me. I've only met 1 other person that has had thus surgery. So I am really happy this app has been my support. Thanks guys. Sent from my SM-G930F using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. Congrats. I'm still doing the doctor visits hoping to be cleared by my insurance. HW 360 I'm still trying to decide if I want the bypass or the sleeve . I see most persons who are over 300lbs do the bypass. What made you do the sleeve? Sent from my SM-G930F using BariatricPal mobile app
