  1. I started an Instagram account the day before surgery....want to keep track of my progress and love to see others going through this journey also!!
  2. I just had surgery on 1/2/18. I had the regrets & wished I hadn’t gone through with the surgery. But I promise you it will get easier everyday!! It’s a slow process...take one day at a time...one hour, one minute, even one second at a time if you need. I’m hoping it gets easier for you sooner than later... -in the same boat
  3. Hello! I recently had surgery 1/2/2018. I’m worried this surgery isn’t going to work! I feel like I’m not going to change (I can’t picture myself weighing less.) I feel like I’m going to always look heavy, that no more of the weight is going to come off and that I’m not going to be able to change my eating habits. I am signed up for mental health behavioral classes, but not until March. I know a lot of the weight loss process is mental as well as diet & exercise. That being said I feel like I’m already struggling just 6 days post op!!! I’m on the full liquid diet right now and I can’t even seem to do that. I cannot get my protein shakes or vitamins in, I think they both taste horrible! I try to drink as much protein as I can but only end up drinking a few sips and only 1-2 vitamins (if I’m lucky!) I have ordered a different protein drink to try, it should arrive tomorrow. So I have been having some blended up soup, probably a few tablespoons throughout the day...ugh. I feel like I’m hungry....am I really?? Or is it all just mental??? I go to my first post-op visit Wednesday & will bring my concerns up then. I just wanted to know if anyone else has gone through this??? Any advice?? I feel like I’m failing!!!!
