I have had 2 knee replacements due to wearing out with my weight. Don't want the,hips to be next plus I'm tired of being slow moving and out of breath. Kjallen firstly so sorry for your loss. I can understand your hubbys fears but when everything settles down I hope you consider going to forward with your own surgery. Your MIL would not want you to sacrifice your own plans for a better future health. I am a MIL myself and I know she,loved you and your plans for the future. When I met my surgeon (the former Gila Monster) he told me I was 2 times as big as I should be. Dang I could only hope he meant twice as wonderful as average. Fluffy Chix, gotta love you. Enjoy your posts so much. Let me tell you my statistics. Hw355 cw 329 my dream weight 170 or size 16. Ht5ft9in and nearly old enough to have dated Moses. We doubled with Methuselah and his sister, but I'm still gonna undertake the journey. May be one of my surgeons older patients but I'm gonna be a success just like the 20-30 year olds. Hi I started on this journey in 2015, part way thru, job terminated in Jan 2016 so lost insurance. Thought I'd muddle along but after diet failures and second knee replacement last February, realized I wouldn't last longer being the weight of a redwood tree when inside is a lovely sugar maple waiting. Hi from to,bloom forth. I'm a little older than many of you saplings but I'll make a success of this journey and I hope to be here firmly rooted for many more years. Hope to have my surgery at Mount Carmel in my state capital of Columbus with Dr Marcus Miller. He and his Bariatric Nurse Navigator Amber are great.
