  7. I completely understand it's hard for me to go slow. I was actually a slow eater before the surgery but now I feel like I have to go super slow and I also get full quickly. I think little by little we will get a hang of it. Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Hey sleeve twin haha! Just take it slow I would and still have a bit of pain if I eat to fast. Honestly sometimes I forget I even had the surgery because thank God I have not had any problems. Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Little by little I think I was able to barely do 2 shakes also. Just drink it thought the day not all at once that's what I do. It will get easier. I'm 16 days pre op and trust me it does get easier. You just have to force yourself to drink. I also did Gatorade and thinned it out with water. Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. You know what helped me with the protein shakes was 1%milk I'm not sure if you cam have it. I was allowed and I thinned out the protein shake with it and it was easier for me. I'm not sure what protein shake you are doing I am doing premier protein shakes. Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. I seriously believe we come here to find support for the life changing surgeries we all had or are going to have. I feel like we need to respect each other's beliefs and just focus on the reason why we came to this page. I just want to share experiences with new people. 19. Trust me I felt the same but it does not sound like you made terrible food choices. Like you said I have also read about some people not having to diet at all only the day before. I know you really want this and I think you will be fine just stick with it today. Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. Hey sleevedvegan I had surgery on Dec. 11 and a couple of days before my surgery we were evacuated due to the fires so I honestly couldn't keep up with the pre op diet I didn't eat to bad but I did eat. I was honest with my Dr and he assured me I would be fine. I let them know on Fri and had my surgery Mon I started back on my diet and was really strict on the day before my surgery. Thank God everything came out ok and I did fine. That was just my experience but it could be different for everyone. Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Hey how are you? You know what I have felt like you do. Thank God have not had any nausea, pain or have thrown up. I feel like I am eating more often then I should. Of course I do stop when I start to feel full but I was wondering the same thing. Should I be feeling pain, nausea once I eat more? The only small pain I have felt is if I small to fast. Sometimes I still forget I have had the surgery and swallow my water to fast. How often are you eating? Sent from my SM-G920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  25. Half of a small pear half of a small apple, 5 leaves of spinach, 1 slice of avocado, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/3 cup of orange juice. I put it all in the blender and enjoyed it, i was not sure about the avocado but it was actually delicious that really helped me but I know everyone is different.
