  16. Depending on who’s your insurance provider, you could wait up to two weeks for an approval. Who’s your provider?
  17. Hello, My name here is the same as my Instagram name in case anyone would like to follow my journey. I am PRE-OP and I stand at 5’6 and weigh 245 (242.1 from today’s weigh in..). I don’t really have a “goal” weight or size - I am just looking to be healthy. Hope I meet some amazing people here ? Good luck on your journeys!!
  18. YUP! We’re purposefully having our wedding May 2019 because I will go out for surgery February 2018. My biggest fear is loving a dress and not fitting it Im going to wait until a year out to go dress shopping!!
  19. I am 5’6 with a starting weight of 245. My insurance is MD based Medicare and it’s UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Bariatric surgery is covered by state plans as long as you meet the requirements- in my case, since I had a lower BMI (standard is 40 or less) I had to have at least ONE comorbidity with for me is Type 2 Diabetes. Call your insurance company to find out more!
