  1. I'll check but she hasn't offered. That might help though. Thanks.
  2. I might be in the same boat!
  3. Are you thinking about changing or is she your only option?
  4. Oye, that's what I need her to help with. I'm going to push one more time and if we can't connect on this she's going to have to go! Thanks.
  5. Oh thank you. How hard is it going to be to do this from airports and hotels?
  6. I'm through 3 of my 6 NUT appointments and I'm not feeling a connection to her. She's young, never has an opinion or tells me anything helpful. I've asked her at each appointment to provide me with a menu of options i can eat as I prepare. (I travel a lot for work so I want to figure that out). She never remembers and acts like I haven't asked. She's told me nothing about a pre-op diet or if I'm suppossed to be losing anything. Just weighs me and says ok (the 2nd appt I gained 1, the 3rd I lost 3 - my life story). My 4th is in December. I want to know if I'm expecting too much or if I should ask for a new one (it's part of the service at my clinic). What should the NUT be doing during the pre phase? Love to hear others experiences. (BTW, I don't know anyone that's gone through WLS so no one IRL to ask). Thanks in advance. CW 248 Surgery: mid to end of March
  7. Same with me! My 4th nut is early December. Hoping to sleeve mid March. Did they put you in a diet or tell you to modify in any way yet? Mine hasn't. She's been pretty useless. Feels like she's just checking the box. I'm thinking about discussing it with her in Dec but not sure what she should be doing. HW 253 CW 249

  11. Wishing you much success!!! I'm about 4 months from surgery (ins req). Wondering if there are things you wish you'd known or things you did or wish you'd done to be more prepared? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. I have BCBS IL and, yes, they require 6 months of supervised diet. My clinic offers it as part of the service. I'm not finding it very useful ... just something I have to do. Dr said basically they want to be sure you can't lose it on your own ... I can't. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Congrats on your surgery!!I'm about 4 months. Looking back are there things you wish you'd done or would do different? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
