  12. My thoughts are get a mini bypass. I had the sleeve three years ago and it is very easy to stretch it out over time. I lost 60 lbs have gained back 30. I'm 5 foot tall I weigh 197 right now. I am having surgery in March and I'm going for the mini bypass and the reason I'm choosing the mini is because it is reversible where if you get the full gastric bypass it is not reversible. I want to do the mini because if I ever have problems with my nutrition after I've lost the weight I want to lose I could get it reversed. Because of working in a hospital I see so many people who had a full bypass that are struggling with their health because they just don't get the nutrients they need. So just for your information this is always an option. Best of luck on whatever you choose. But don't let me scare you about the full one. Because it's all about what you put in your mouth. When you've had a bypass from what I understand you should only put nutritious Foods in your mouth because you can't eat very much food so everything you take by mouth needs to be nutritious if you're eating bad foods like chips and filling up your stomach with bad food you're not going to get the nutrients and I do think this is where a lot of my patients health problems stem from is their choices of what they're putting in their mouth. 13. I ask my doctor about the DS. And he won't even discuss it with me he says I don't weigh enough to have that one. So I am getting the mini gastric bypass. As I was already sleeve 3 years ago lost 60 lbs but gained back 30. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. I don't sneeze when I overeat. But I get a runny nose. And as soon as my nose starts to feel runny I know it's time to stop LOL Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I had the sleeve 3 years ago and am converting to the mini bypass because if you ever have problems the mini bypass is reversible. I do not recommend the sleeve. Its to easy to fall back into old habits and stretch your sleeve. However I have a friend that got a sleeve when I did and she is skinny but I know others that it did not help much.
  18. Hello, I am planning to have a mini gastric bypass done in early march. I had a sleeve done 3 years ago and lost 60 lbs but have gained 30 lbs back. I am 5'0 and 197. Has anyone ever revised to the mini? Can you please give me feedback. Good and bad is all welcome. Thanks so much.
