  4. Hello. Your weight going up after surgery is very normal. During the surgery and immediately post op you were getting tons of IV fluids and that adds to your weight,but also when the surgeons attach part of your small bowel attaches just below your pouch.   5. I plan to just keep my food journal. Will plan to take a monthly photos, and every 6 months or so will have my measurements redone. I will be using microsoft Word because I can add photos and format it any way I want. Sent from my RCT6703W13 using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Make sure you keep a pillow handy to splint you belly when you cough. This is normal. I took care of heart patients after their surgeries for 20 years at a major medical center. Now retired. Sent from my RCT6703W13 using BariatricPal mobile app
