  1. That incision site was my worst enemy last night and today. Hopefully, tonight will be a better night, fingers crossed. The cups work for me cause I can get an accurate count of what and how much I'm drink. Keeps me motivated to get to the bottom of the cup.
  2. My gas was on full blast last night, thank goodness. I purchased some 3 oz plastic cups versus just kind sipping out of the water bottle. Maybe its mental but that keeps sipping more. 6 day post surgery...am I the only one who is having pain issues near their incision site. Last night I couldn't get comfort. I must have turned the wrong way in my sleep...and I could have swore someone stabbed me in my tummy with a rusty and jagged butterknife?
  3. Yeah that was first time I had that sort of reaction to anesthesia. Show someone a little kindness each day~Miss Tee
  4. I've been walking around the house and pacing around my bedroom and a little toot here and there but nothing much. What did work though..funny...I leaned my upper half on my body on the bed and stuck my booty in the air.....and it worked. I don't know why but it did. 5. What is everyone pureeing....I've been doing homeade broth, sugar free jello and pudding, and sugar free popsicles. Am I missing something..... I'm glad things are staying down.
  6. I'm currently in the post liquid/pureed stage...but I'm looking ahead by finding recipes that will benefit me in the near future. What are some foods that works well with the stomach and what are some NO NO's..besides sugar, bread, and carbonated drinks. Show someone a little kindness each day~Miss Tee

  8. They have me the nausea patch behind my ear before surgery. After sugery they tried 2 other nausea meds, one by IV, the other by mouth, and the last a shot in the arm. None were effective. The liquid pain meds I would dry heave and it was the same results for the dilaudid in the pump. I didnt get any sleep or rest after the surgery until the following morning. They had to give me a series of powerful anti-nausea meds for me to even function.
  9. I had issues after surgery but as soon as those were resolved I went to stage 2. I'm having a very low energy day.
  10. Awesome! Can't wait until you get on the other side. I'm 4 days post-op Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I felt like I spent most of the day drinking protein, broth, and jello. I used to like the Premier vanilla shake and now its sickly sweet. I still have gas pain which extents to back pain. Does anyone know why and how that happens? My incision site is still very raw. How long before everyone truly bounces back? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. I feel the same way and everyone is friendly and respectful. I think we're like minded people with two common goals, a healthier life with a body to match[emoji4]. I had a bowel movement right before the surgery but none thus far. My doctor prescribed miralax so I'll give that a try tomorrow. I wish you much success when you're sleeved. 13. I'm 3 days post op and last night was the first night I pass gas....and it was awesome. The pressure release was spectacular. I kinda leaned over the side of my bed with tummy on the bed and booty in the air...and it worked. I'm getting my liquids in...but its tight. My incision site is super sore because I had severe nausea because of the anesthesia...I did a lot of dry heaving and coughing after the surgery, painful. I still have no regrets. 14. I wish I had it that easy. I had a horrible reaction to the anesthesia. I had severe nausea. The surgery was great, the major incison, sore but the nausea was enough for me to almost start crying. The dry heaving was so painful. I thought I was gonna hurt or rip something. The staff was awesome and they finally got my nausea under control. Thank you Lord! Now my recovery can begin!!! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. The surgery went well, praise him. The nausea after the surgery was horrible to the 5th degree. None of the nausea meds were working so they had to pull out heavy hitters and thank goodness those finally starting working. Dry heaving on a empty stomach and fresh incision were painful. So the nausea finally went away and the gas pains set in. Despite the pain.....I have absolutely no regrets about getting sleeved. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  23. Well, I knew about most of the things you mentioned with exception of being scrubbed down to my knees. I wasn't aware of that tidbit of info. Don't let any of that bother you, girl. I say let em look, we're all getting upgrades soon?. I always ask for my catheter after I'm knocked out...super uncomfortable. My surgery is April 3rd....and I say lump it and let's focus on recovery instead. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
