I’m preparing for gastric sleeve surgery and had my endoscopy today. Multiple polyps were found in my duodenum and were biopsied (photo attached). No hiatal hernia. Esophagus and stomach were normal. Has anyone else had the same results? Height: 5’6” HW: 250 CW: 246 GW: 150

Thank you for your response! May I ask which procedure you had? (I’m going for the gastric sleeve.) Any issues with insurance? So far, I’ve had the lab work, EKG, chest x-ray, and three classes. My next appointment is for the endoscopy. Height: 5’6” HW 250 CW 250 GW 150

Has anyone used Dr. Wiedower at the Winchester Medical Center in Virginia?

I’m wondering about the same thing. My BMI is currently 39 and I was told I have to go on a 4-month diet before surgery. I’m concerned that my BMI will be too low for surgery. I wonder what the cut off is?
