  1. No blood clot!! Bad news: brace, ice, elevation, rest and pain meds. If not better in a week I will have to see an orthopaedic dr
  2. They think it’s extensor tendinitis but have to send me to the main hospital to rule out a blood clot first.
  3. Warm, cold, elevating, wrapping etc... nothing. I’m sitting at the urgent care now.
  4. 4 days post op and having severe forearm pain in the arm that had the IV. The IV was in my hand and the nurse failed to notice that the IV had blown my vein. Needless to say, at discharge my hand and forearm looked like a latex balloon. Each day since, the pain has gotten progressively worse to the point that I’m no longer able to sleep through it. Even with the Oxy from surgery, it only buys me 3 hours of sleep where I’m still conscience of the pain. [emoji30]
  5. That sounds like a virus rather than the advertising I’m talking abt. Facebook doesn’t naturally have pop ups and neither do any of the websites I’ve mentioned.
  6. It may be that the protein one has things in it that other mills don’t (in a good way). I was told I could have almond milk but I’m scared lol
  7. This happened with everything. Even YouTube ads, yahoo ads, etc. if you’re u have internet (even just on your phone) you are paying people to advertise to you.
  8. Yes, I’m lacking. I managed 10 oz today counting everything. [emoji30] mainly bc l, as you said, it gets caught in my chest where they did the hernia repair.
  9. Fairlife milk is delish! I miss it. I’ve been told no dairy for the first 2-3 weeks and they prefer we stay away altogether... but I know I’ll cave.
  10. I’m already on two different antacids [emoji24]
  11. I got crystal light too and today I found I can handle more of the shake if I heat it up (it’s like a bad hot chocolate [emoji23]) warmer beverages seem to be better for me. I’ll work my meal times better tomorrow that’s the great thing... tomorrow is a new day... to start fresh and fix those mistakes [emoji846]
  12. Isn’t that the one currently in a lawsuit for false advertising bc their calories are too low for their to legit be 30 gr of protein?
  13. My bmi is 35 (or was on surgery day 10/25) and I got the same story. “You don’t need it”....!uhm, check my medical chart dearie and we can talk after you read that encyclopedia [emoji23]
  14. Sounds like my day. Except the can sip a protein shake all day and never finish 8 oz... and be thirsty and he entire day. Makes it hard to separate meal time from water.
  15. Walk walk walk. I know they preach it but after having my gallbladder out in April and dealing with that pain, I walked the hell out of the surgical hall during my overnight stay this time. If I was awake, I was doing a lap... or TWO (once I even did 3). So gas pains haven’t been as bad this time around. Walk walk walk
  16. I had my sleeve on 10/25 but I’ve been hungry constantly ever since. [emoji24] feels like my stomach is trying to eat itself bc I can’t meet any of my nutritional goals [emoji24]
  17. Just posted something similar bc I’m 3 days out and am not meeting any of my nutritional goals [emoji30]
  18. And not hitting ANY of my goals [emoji30]
  19. BMI 35. Scheduled for 10/25. Considered “low BMI” by my bariatric clinic.
