  1. This is too early in the am... however happy to be on my way to surgery.
  2. I fully understand. I get upset when I see kids under 10 running around my neighborhood with no adults around. Sure we live in a rural area in the middle of the wood. However, there are wild animals here (like bears, fishercats, and coyotes). And the people drive down the roads very fast, since there is never any traffic.
  3. My first few days on the pre-op liquid diet was hard. I had headaches and was wicked tired for about 3 days after the first day. After the 4th day it got easier and the headaches and fatigue went away. If you continue to get headaches you might want to check with you doctor. Good luck and hang in there, we are all here for you.
  4. I have 2 more days on mine and then clear liquids for Easter. I had a similar diet (4 protein shakes and veggies or some fruits) and have lost 13 pounds so far.
  5. Those shirts a funny. I might have get one (or all). I agree is the small things like fitting in old cloths again. My scale and I have decided we don’t get along (I decided I hated it since it decided to not lie about my weight, especially when I would gain weight lol). I use small milestones like cloths fitting better instead of yelling at my scale. Congrats on the weight loss!
  6. Congrats. It does seem to fly by once everything is approved by the insurance company. I wish you the best of luck.
  7. I am right there with you. No Easter dinner for me, since my surgery is the next day. I will be having clear liquids with a side of water lol.
  8. Actually Abrial is a user name I use and not my real one. My family is Irish and my real name is Latin (go figure). I have a crazy mom, that I love and is wonderfully supportive (as is my whole family and my husband’s too). I got Abrial from an anime (Crest of Stars) and the first time I went to use it I could not get the correct spelling Abriel and used the French spelling. I have stayed with that spelling for years now. Thank you for the compliment though.
  9. Mine was March 13th, had I to rescheduled due to the nor’easter that gave us 24 inches of snow. Now it is April 2nd.
  10. I did not get a letter. I called my insurance company and was told I was all set. Then I double checked with my surgeon’s office. They had the approval noted.
  11. I understand that feeling. I am 5’1.
  12. My surgery is April 2nd.
