  2. I will be a year out the end of September. I am not diabetic either. I had a little spell with my sugar about 3 weeks out then nothing. All of a sudden the last like 4 months I have been battling with it dropping.i went to the doctors a couple weeks ago and they made me do a three hour glucose test. My fasting glucose was 70 my one hour was 69 my hour 2 was somewhere below 30 and my hour three was still only 55. So now I go to a specialist the 25th to find out why it is going so low. My doctor told me that sometimes with this sugery it's a shock to the system so the pancreas could be having trouble regulating things. She also said there is a list of things that could cause it to go low like that so that's why I have to see the specialist to rule out what it is.
  3. My sister is suppose to have surgery in Tijuana with dr. Almanza in June and I am going with her since I already had the surgery (in Dallas) I’m just nervous about going over the border and having someone we don’t know picking us up from the airport has anyone went to dr almanza and what was your experience
  4. How are you feeling? I had the same thing happen

  6. I had the same thing happen to me at my 2 weeks they told my I was nauseous because I was dehydrated. I ended up in the hospital and because I wasn’t eating my sugar and blood pressure dropped and my potassium was low while I was there but while I was there I hit my three week mark and was able to eat some eggs while I was in the hospital and that was the best thing ever right after I ate the eggs I started to feel better. I would say keep taking the promethazine and Zofran so you can keep drinking and not get dehydrated and if your like me soon as you can eat real good you start feeling better I think it was just my body’s way of saying no more soup haha

  18. I am 5 days post op and noticed yesterday when I put my contacts I noticed that when I brought my phone close to my face stuff got very small and blurry Then today I went outside and the sun was killing my eyes I don't know if it's the medicine or the lack of food or what it is but I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with vision after surgery
