  1. Congratulations everyone!! I had to go buy an outfit for a wedding this weekend. I was sorta dreading it, but I bought a pair of pants that were a size small than I have worn in a LONG time. I also had to throw out some capris that were sagging so bad it was embarrassing!! It felt good to donate them to someone else!!
  2. Hey, keep taking the biotin. My hair comes out, but with the biotin, new is growing so my hair is still really thick and heathy. Make sure you are drinking enough water too!
  3. I am also on bc pills. About a week after surgery, same thing happened. I was afraid my pills were ineffective and was beginning a panic. I asked the nurse and she said it was from the trauma of sugery. Since then, I have no problems!
  4. I was banded May 7th and lost 10 pounds the first week. Then I stayed the same weight for two WHOLE weeks. It was awful, but finally this week I dropped 4 pounds. So I can totally relate, but it will come off if you stick to the plan!! Keep up the good work!
  5. Hey! I was banded on 5/7. I too am kinda feeling disconnected, but I think it's because I am spending so much time on trying to figure this all out. Am I getting enough protein? Should I drink now? Being a teacher, wife, and mom, I usually don't spend this much time thinking about what I will eat. It's usually about everyone else. It is getting better and I am determined to be successful. It's just a new way of life to learn.
  6. I am back to work tomorrow. Kinda nervous that I won't have enough energy, but ready to get back on schedule. I am eating oatmeal in the morning and I can't wait!!
  7. Congrats to all who were banded this week. I am extremely sore where the port is, but am feeling pretty good. I get worn out really easily because of no food.
