  1. UGH ... I know how you feel! Happened to me too! Was the 2nd postponement for me as my first date got cancelled because my mom, who lives 4 hours away, fell and was thought to have a broken hip! When I tried to reschedule, I was "too anemic" so, had to have IV iron for 6 weeks and then, here came Hurricane Harvey! I was flooded into my house and could not get to the hospital! Sigh ... I did that 7 day liquid only thing twice before actually having the surgery this past Thursday!! I swear I by now I should be a mere wisp and yet, I'm NOT! Hope you are doing well and made it through the hurricane and after!

  5. Sure going to look for or order some of these! Hope they would help satisfy my need to crunch once I get to that point!
  6. So strange how we each were told different things for post op care! Grateful to have found this site. Feeling more isolated than normal! Time for more protein shake stuff! Aaack!

  8. Amazing post. I am only 3 days post-sleeve but, identify with every word you wrote and everything you felt. Thank you very much for sharing.
  9. Hi ... I also had my procedure on Thursday. I know that my doctor had me on clear liquid until today. Just started on full liquid. They recommended 4 ounce of protein shake slowly and then wait and then repeat. I was given a schedule looking thing to go by and looks like liquid only for 2 weeks. UGh! I'm only using Premier Protein ready-to-drink shakes and trying to get down New Whey protein shots in between. Sure hope to get all this figured out!
  10. I'm a newbie! Had my sleeve surgery with hiatal hernia repair this past Thursday and the pain in my chest area, collar bone region, neck and arms was terrible. I have been walking as much as possible and it has dissipated somewhat; however, still very sharp pains exist. About how many days does it normally take for the gas/air to finally release? Feeling your pain over here ... still cannot lay down in bed to sleep!
