Hi, I too am 5’3” at 226 lbs. Meeting with doctor next month and then surgery will be scheduled. Have gone through the 6 month process. I am doing it because of health reasons as well. My blood pressure has been high. Have severe sleep apnea and high glucose levels. Also have RA and the extra weight gives me horrible muscle pain. 😞 Really looking forward to feeling healthy, and yet trrrified. -
Sorry TMI, but would like to know if anyone has had this issue. During my labs I had to bring in a stool sample. It tested positive for H pylori. Doctors office says it’s a bacteria that is common and that many have it with no symptoms. Have to take antibiotics for 14 days. I have my doctors visit in 3 weeks and then surgery will be scheduled.

Ugh! I’m on tetracycline. Not too bad so far. It’s been 2 days. Hopefully it will stay that way.
