  1. Hi friends, 4 weeks post-op. Super moody and high anxiety. I am used to being the fun fat friend. Now I'm not even that- fun that is. Food became a a way to keep me happy. Now, I'm learning to deal with my demons. I could really use a friend that understands how I feel. I don't think I need advice, just someone who gets it. ❤
  2. I'm perplexed why you would have them done at different times. Why would it be better to be put under twice? I had my band revived at same time. Strange....

  4. Are you just having the Lap-Band removed or are you converting to a gastric sleeve? I had mine removed as part of the gastric sleeve, and it took a few days for me to feel better. I actually had to go back to work the following Monday and my surgery was on Wednesday.

  9. Mine was within 2 weeks. Not sure if that's normal. They had to rush all the preop to make it work.
  10. 8 days here too. What are you eating now? I think I may be pushing my limits too quickly.
  11. I am 6 days post op B2S and I was told 2 weeks. Super hard with some slips. Good luck and see you on the other side!
  12. Pretty disappointed. I made a call to doc's answering service at 11am. (It's Sunday) By 5pm I had taken 6-8 tumbs and an OTC zantac. I called again because now I'm freaked out in doing more harm. They found a different doctor to call me. That was a waste of time for us both. He didn't understand what the big deal was. I explained i just had gastric sleeve less than a week ago. He asked where my pain was. I told him in my abdomen. He said then it would not be acid reflux, or I would feel it in my chest. He told me if my doc wanted me on a medication he would have sent me home with one. (*&^$='= REALLY) I have now had another zantac and 2 more tums. The pain is starting to lessen but would still say a solid 5-6 pain level. I'm so scared I'm hurting my incision. I would advise any pre survey folks to discuss this with your physician. ?
  13. Surgery 9/6/17. All was well. This morning I woke to what feels like incredible hunger pains. I was sent home with nausea and pain pills but I am unclear what I'm feeling. I took the pain pills, sipped on 1/4 cup of milk but this pain is not going away. It's Sunday so I will need OTC meds. Ideas on what I'm feeling and how to stop it?

  16. I too have stomach pain but it comes in waves, like incredible hunger pains. I am only 4 days postop. My incisions are fine. I jist don'tunderstand what pain I'm feeling and nervous to take anything. I'm also worried I drank too large of portions yesterday. Ugh!
