Mine malfunctioned too. I had it yearsss too. I had mine removed last January and sleeve soon. Kinda wish mine was all at once like yours but mine was so emergent to be taken out.

It happened to me. Almost 10 years. I lost 120 too wow. I had to go to the er too. I was in horrible pain. Couldn’t keep water down. You will feel better soon. Sorry it happened Had lap band for almost 10 years. Lost and kept most 120# . It ended up finally failing and 8 had to go to the er to get it removed. Sleeve surgery scheduled February 1, 2017.

I had/ ridden horses most of my life. My best buddy I had since high school died 2 years ago. I’m excited to get healthy again and get more. It has taken awhile to get over it. Anywho mine is from my favorite show , one of my favorite songs. My dad, aunt, Dog died the same year so I’ve been pretty wayward for awhile too in many ways.

Dr Vafa Shayani of Bolingbrook, Il is so awesome. He took my lap band out as an emergency eventho I was not his patient yet. I got it done in another state. He calls to check up on you while in the hospital, emails you back right away. He really cares. He has great reviews from others. I believe he has a book of patients before and afters. I had lap band before for almost 10years, two surgeries last year alone, 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed that bled a lot. my Hematolgoist checked everything and it’s just from all that. I’m so much better now after the infusion all my numbers in a month alone jumped up. thanks were also keeping an eye on everything every 6 months.

Oh yes,, I’m done with him. Yup, I’m super excited. I’m tentatively having it feb 1st

I’m going to swim up until my surgery. It’s great low impact for me because I wrecked my knee and foot. Lol

Ok sorry for leaving you all hanging. I do not have cancer, that dr was being an arse. I went to a Hematolgoist and my Iron just was super low. I had an infusion and was great. I didn’t get my surgery right away since I had to give my body time to recover from the infusion and then my son has brought home every germ imaginable Lol. So after I’m well from this flu I’ll be going in. Again. Apologies about running off for awhile. That dr had me a mess.

Thank you. I just have my test results from 10 days before this last one. The newest one he hasn't released to me at all yet. Also, he didn't tell me how far they were off as well. He just got me a referral to a hematologist.

Yeah, I was in complete shock. He replaced my old doctor who left. I was going to give Him a chance. Lol. Thank you

Thanks for Reading my vent. Lol. I was not impressed at all. My surgeons office finally got a hold of him today.

My CBC tests the last couple tests have been out of wack. He jumped to cancer/leukemia which I didn't appreciate.

Sorry it's a bit long. I just need to vent I was going to have surgery on Thursday and I got my blood test with some weird readings. My new pcp opens up with "I'm going to ruin your day" uh grrrr. Then proceeds to tell me that my blood test could mean CANCER and he won't approve me. My abnormal tests can be a lot of things (infections , even stress) from what I've researched. After dropping the cancer bomb Tuesday he told me to call him to remind him to send my surgeon the test and to read it. So I called when he told me and the receptionists shut me down and told me "well, we can't help you, the doctor is busy" So my husband calls and they supposedly agreed to leave the doctor a message message to fax my gastric surgeon. It's almost 24 hours after that and nothing . I've been stressing out about cancer and leaving my family. All because this guy just couldn't say "hey we are going to re test you " sigh In a way it's good to find out be what's going on with me but the delivery was horrible. :*(

Yeah, no idea why he even whipped that word out. I'm freaking out right now and have to wait till tomorrow. Urg. Sorry for "hijacking "your post.
