  2. loved this video! thank you for sharing
  3. My doctor has us do 1 week liquids post off then two of pure/soft food. I had a visit with him 1 week after surgery and since i've had no issues he told me i don't need to see him for four months. seems like so long
  4. that's why i figured my friends doctor said no. I was just curios as to why i could have it. so many doctors have so many different rules
  5. my doctor allows mashed potatoe.... very ver minimal but its on the list. another friend told me she couldn't have that for 6 months? curious what other doctors said.
  6. thank you all! glad to here you're doing well also! If i hadn't lost 12lbs so far i'd be convinced nothing was done haha but I'm counting my blessings
  7. This is going to sound ridiculous but hoping I can find others that feel this great after surgery. I was sleeved on 10/18. I feel fantastic. I didn't take any narcotics after waking up from surgery. Just some (Torbidol?) which I was told wasn't that strong. I have no pain and almost feel like nothing happened. I was up walking around and hour after recovery and felt great. I know this sounds crazy but i almost feel like this is to good to be true? Anyone else experience this?
  8. guess ill find out. surgery scheduled for 10/18 and i see my PCP for Medical clearance on 9/25 just hope it doesn't postpone surgery.
  9. No she didn't say i needed to. And my surgeon doesn't require it he just n needs the EKG done too i guess i'll see what happens i have an appointment for the ekg with my primary. i guess if she's not ok with me not getting the sleep study done she won't give me a letter of medical clearance.
  10. I dont have to see pulmonary. I guess that why i'm worried shell make me do that too. guess i'll find out. my surgeon only requires an EKg for clearance and the endoscopy.
  11. my Primary mentioned at my last visit that i might want to do it INSTEAD of surgery. she thinks thats why i am over weight. my endocrinologist and surgeon disagree with her. my surgeon is only requiring an EKG and bloodworm for clearance but i am afraid my PCP will not hold me up =(
  12. did anyone HAVE to get sleep apnea screening before their surgery?
  13. Thank you! and congrats on your success!
  14. Thursday will be the 90 days i needed to hit prior to surgery for insurance. Now that I can set surgery date, I'm freaking out that this is all happening. needing some positive stories or tips !
