  1. I haven't been tracking calories, honestly im probably not eating enough. I have been working out twice a week but need to do that more. My water in take has been great. I haven't talked to a nutritionist , just my surgeon and my endocrinologist. I do have PCOS and hypothyroidism and some of my numbers were a little higher than they should be at my last check up. My endo told me the same to go back to counting calories and up the exercise. I was just hoping someone had been in the same spot as me. I know the work is up to me ! Thank you all for your replies!
  2. HI! I had surgery last october. I lost 63lbs by may. I haven't lot anything else since May. My surgeon says it can happen and my body is adjusting and to step up the cardio and it will start coming off again. But def starting to get worried. Has anyone else had a long stall and then still had success. I really want to get to at least 100lb down. a
  3. Hi! I had surgery in october. Lost 63 lbs and then stalled this may. I can't seem to get it started again. Can anyone give me some ideas? or help on how to get the weight moving again?
  4. Jarrow Formulas, Type II Collagen Complex, 60 Capsules Hi, these were recommended to me . Supposed to help with skin hydration and to keep skin as tight as possible during weight loss. Does anyone have any experience with these or know anything about them? Thanks
  5. When i hit 6 months post surgery last month i stopped loosing. I'm not gaining but i haven't lost in about 5 weeks. help!
  6. thanks everyone! yes i had a small week 3 as i go into month 5 i just wanted the scale to keep driving. but i'll get there!
  7. I had surgery on 10/18. I'm down 52 lbs. But have been stalled for three weeks. I am getting my protein, adding more water, doing cardio and weights. Is this normal? should i be worried?
  8. Hi ! Was sleeved at the end October and Down 52lbs. These past 2 weeks i have not been disciplined. I haven't gone off the wagon per say but don't feel like I have been on a good schedule. Picking here and there and not planning actual meals. I honestly don't think im eating enough. What have been ways you've gotten back on track? Or reset the pouch as I have read. Im so happy with my sleeve. Just need to kick my butt into gear. Kinda mad at myself for it but looking for advice for others. Thanks!
  9. i am a woman. my doctor told me i'll be working my way up to 6 oz - 8oz. i have been eating around 4 or 5. No problems, no full feeling . I haven't had any issues with any food. I can tolerate everything. Which i should feel good about but being that its only be a little over a month makes me nervous. i left a message for my doctor cause i dont see him again for 3 months. was just looking for some other peoples perspective didn't need to upset anyone.
  10. no of dense protein. fish, shrimp etc are easier. chicken and beef are rougher. so i'm trying to stick to those. liquid protein i can tolerate more. i use the premier protein shakes and i have to really time myself cause i can drink it very quickly and i dont wan to. the weight is coming off but just nervous how well i have handled everything. im very lucky but want this to work so im just trying to be cautious.
  11. thanks. i do weigh my food and my doctor says others can tolerate more than others but i just feel like nothing happened since surgery and it scares the crap out of me. i'm 1 month out i can tolerate 5oz of protein without a problem.
  12. 1 scrambled egg and 1/2 slice whole wheat toast for breakfast or a premier protein shake and then i try to have a lean protein for lunch and dinner and switch up the sides. but i just dont ever feel full or stuffed. i stop my self from eating when i feel like i could eat much more. i haven't had any issues with any food. even drinking water makes me nervous. i stop myself from drinking fast cause if i dont think about it i can drink a bottle of water really fast like i used to before surgery and i know thats not good.
  13. im constantly worried that eating more when i feel like i can will stretch out my sleeve. im constantly stopping myself from eating more and sometimes wondering if im eating enough. does that make sense? does anyone have any knowledge on how the sleeve can stretch. is it something that easily happens??? im following my doctors plans but sometimes still terrified
  14. yes i have heard all of this but i have also heard that if it doesn't bother you its fine. that the carbonation is not strong enough to stretch the pouch. i did have some seltzer the other day and i didn't have any pain or gas. so was just curious what others have been doing
  15. Does anyone drink them ? I've seen and heard doctors say things on both sides of the spectrum. so I'm curious as to what others do or don't do.
  16. ahhh thank you for the explanation. makes sense. I appreciate you taking the time to do that. thanks!
  17. what is a slider food? What does that mean?
  18. What's the deal? Can we eat it? Should we not?
  19. I had surgery 3 weeks ago. This is the start of week 4 Week 4 is when i could start introducing all foods on my diet plan. I felt ok weird at first but i think it was mostly in my head. feel fine afterwards.
  20. Just had my first salad which just consisted of lettuce and some lite dressing. I feel weird. I can't describe it
  21. I know you should stay away from these no matter what, however I am curios to know if anyone can handle it? Or once you are sleeved is it a total no go for the new stomach. I'm just curious
  22. I'm a little over 2 weeks out from surgery. I lost 21lbs over that two weeks I was thrilled. I know there will be stalls but now the scale is going up for the last 3 days. I'm doing exactly what the doctors tell me to do. Help!
  23. gotcha. i;ve had no problems with the premier either!
