Hey August Sleevers!!! I just had my hiatal hernia repaired and gastric sleeve surgery yesterday, I was discharged from the hospital today. I'm in some pain, I'm waiting for the meds to kick in. Hi I'm 5'0" and in the low 200's and it's been a struggle for me too. Back pain sleep apnea restless leg syndrome knee pain, torn cartilage in my left knee. My surgery is tomorrow morning. I'm looking forward to it. This is the right direction for me. I've tried so many diets it isn't even funny. But with the gastric sleeve, I can and will succeed. Hi Melody! I'm having my gastric sleeve surgery this Thursday August 3rd. And I want to point out your have a bi polar disorder diagnosis, you're not bi polar. I also have a bi polar disorder diagnosis too. We both may have a mental health condition but it doesn't define us. With that being said, my friends are supportive. My family is too except for my only sibling my older sister. She thinks it's an easy way out too. If your friends are not supporting your decision, shame on them. Misery loves company.
