I'm getting my band to sleeve surgery on the 1st of august and I'm so excited! I got the Band when I was 16 back in 2008 and I'm so excited to get it out. Anyone else get the band as a teenager and is now getting it out?

You can stretch your stomach back out! Just break the rules. Soda will stretch your stomach out, and eating when you drink. I agree with drinking more protein too. I mean I definitely don't recommend stretching your stomach all the way back out, but there are rules you can break to make it happen so you're more comfortable -

I'm in the same boat! I had my lap band in 2008 when I was 16 and since have had two kids (3.5 and 7 months) since then. I'm getting the band out and the sleeve done on Tuesday! During my first pregnancy I gained 70 pounds because my dr recommend I take most of the saline out of the band. I couldn't loose it after no matter what I did. With my second I only gained 20 and have lost 15 of it. And I still plan on having more kids. -
