Any January 2018 Sleevers?
Surgery was Monday the 8th. Getting discharged today. I'm excited about the future. I still have concerns about getting in the requirements and what\when to tell those who start to ask, but I'm sure it will be all worth it. I'm 54 years old and weight has been a life long battle. I knew that this had to be done so that I could enjoy the rest of my life without so many meds and complications from excess weight. Sent from my SM-T560NU using BariatricPal mobile app

Surgery tomorrow morning
It is finally here!!! Tomorrow is my day as well, Camopink27! I'm on my 3rd day of clear liquids and having a hard time imagining that I won't be hungry and that just a little bit of food is going to fill me up. Good Luck and God Bless! Sent from my SM-T560NU using BariatricPal mobile app

Anyone had lap band removal before the actual revision surgery
I had my band removed in July. Monday I will be sleeved. Recovery was easy. I took the day off for the procedure and the next day to recover at home. Back to work the next. A little soreness, but nothing too bad. I are normal foods right away. Sent from my SM-T560NU using BariatricPal mobile app

Most-used kitchen gadgets/utensils after weight loss surgery?
I have yogurt that I'm not going to be eating for a while (surgery on Monday). I'm going to try to freeze some in my silicone ice cube tray! Good idea!

I just bought the silicone ice cube trays. We had some leftover mashed potatoes so I froze them for later. Surgery is Monday!

I have always when someone tries to be my 'food police'. But i'm wondering, do you find having your significant other or bestie acting as your "Food Police" helpful or not?

Let’s do this - 2018 goals anyone?
My surgery date is Jan 8. I already signed up for 2 exercise classes, the first is which starts in March. I should have a significant loss by then. I'm hoping that I find them enjoyable.

Did your spouse's weight change after YOUR surgery?
I figure that my spouse will either lose weight right along with me ( since I won't be eating much, cooking much, no snacks or eating out for a while) OR he may gain weight by eating what I don't. What happened with your spouse or significant other's weight? Sent from my SM-T560NU using BariatricPal mobile app
