Finally cut out coffee creamer!
I found this chocolate coffee creamer that is sugar free and low in carbs & cals. Let me see what the name is and I will let you know. I had my first cup of coffee this morning with just the powdered creamer and not one spoon of sugar and it almost tasted like a dark chocolate piece of coffee lol

1week post op and hungry
Hi guys. So tomorrow I am a week post op GS and I am feeling hungry more often than I think I should. I've been keeping up with my broth, SF Jello & Ice Pops and also my Isopure but I still find myself hungry. Has anyone else had this feeling? I have lost 15 lbs since then but I feel like I need a bit more to fill my belly. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.... [emoji1384]

Gas pain due to drinking liquids. 2 days post OP.
I'm almost a week post op and I have a lot of gas pain as well but I've been taking GasX and it's been helping also walking seems to help as well. I'm sure it'll pass just one of the minor bumps on this long journey.

Weighed myself today 307lbs from 330lbs Surgery was 7/19
Hi Kyle, I think it's normal. The support groups that I have gone to so far have had quite a few people who have lost over 20 pounds within the first two weeks. If you feel uncomfortable with that you can also ask your doctor.

Unsupportive Family
Hi Sleevebabe, I'm sorry you are going through that, unfortunately there are many closed minded people out there, my father, sister & my boyfriend being a few of them. It is a bit difficult to feel confident and sure about your decisions especially when you want your family to be on board. I originally had my first surgery scheduled for May 23, 2017, but because I felt like I had to please everyone by listening to them also told me that I could do it on my own and not get surgery I backed out. I went another month and a half debating on whether it was the right choice and I eventually decided I needed to do this for myself and no one else. My advice to you is follow your gut choice do not let anyone stand in your way of what you feel is right for you. If you do you'll only be living for other people not for yourself and this decision is based on making your life better not anyone else's. I just got my surgery done on July 18 and I am happy with the decision that I made and your mother and sister will eventually come around. Just don't let them stand in your way of doing what you feel is right for you. At the end of the day family will still be there.
