  2. I was in the same boat. RNY in Quebec for $21,000 or Mexico. I chose Mexico, one of the top surgeons. I'm booked for October 30th
  3. OMG You look frikkin INCREDIBLE!!!
  4. And then we can both find out what Victoria's Secret is lmao!
  5. I want to be able look hot wearing power suits and pencil skirts & stilettos at work (with briefcase of course) and also be completely comfortable taking the lead in meetings. Weird I know but it's always been a dream of mine lmao. I look like roly poly in a suit right now and work with all these tall skinny women that I admire walking by *sigh*
  6. I'll jump in and also say I'm really sceptical that this will work. I mean, I've been overweight all my life. I've tried everything like I'm certain everyone in this forum has. I'm terrified that I'll be the exception to the rule, I'll stay overweight with extremely high blood sugar levels AND have done this all for nothing. Ok I'll stop rambling now. Sorry
  7. Welcome to our group! I'm pretty certain we're all excited & nervous! Ive noticed lately that the more I overthink it the more scared I get but that's pretty common from what I've read in this forum
  8. Following. I'm scheduled for RNY October 30th and can barely keep my BS levels in check with insulin and an almost all-liquid diet. Someone in this forum said they took a few weeks but finally did go off insulting so it may not happen right away
  9. I was just thinking of how much I'll miss my tiropita (feta cheese pie) [emoji22]
  10. Hang in there! I bet you're gonna drop like 20 lbs in a week any day now [emoji1417]
  11. They better not! I had to get an ABG 2x daily for 3 weeks yrs ago when I was in the hospital with pneumonia. Worst. Experience. Ever. I almost punched out the nurse once too [emoji51]
  12. Wow! Congratulations!!! What a difference!!! [emoji1417]
  13. Who else has a tracker on their phone? Share away!!! Getting super excited! [emoji322]
  14. It's so nice to put a face to a name! What a difference 6 months make! Your results are AMAZING!
  15. That's hilarious actually! I can't stop laughing [emoji23]
  16. Me three! My mum and husband know that's it. And my mum knows because she's coming with me to be my nurse [emoji57]
  17. Just followed you on instagram you're first in our group!
  18. Nuclear option => bahahahaha! Never thought about it that way. Thank you!
  19. I'm getting mine done at the new hospital too. I can't find it on the BariatricPal website though. ChiakiAngel do you know where it is?
  20. Followed all of you! Instagram is amazing inspiration! Mine is angiesgame - I won't be posting much WLS related stuff though because of keeping my WLS mostly private for now
  21. I've had a weird thought crossing my mind since last night... I wonder what my face REALLY looks like? I mean, I've been overweight since I was 5 yrs. old. What if my real face isn't round? What if I have a square jaw line? Bahahahaha Sorry guys! Just posting random thoughts [emoji16]
