It's only been three months and I've already lost 50% of what I needed to shed. If things keep going like this, I'll hit goal by/before the end of the year. How do I make the weight loss stop after I reach my desired weight?!?! This may sound ridiculous but I'm nervous about getting *too* skinny. HELP!!!!!!! When I eat too quickly, sometimes I can feel the food (or air?) sitting on my chest like I tried to swallow a brick. Does anyone else experience this?

I'm not really sure what is considered a "large" amount. I guess that is subjective. It's less than what I used to eat but it is definitely more than 2 oz. I will start with smaller portions and see if that helps. I know for sure that I am eating too fast. I always have. I will make a focused effort to slow down more. That pain on my chest is awful. It feels like it is choking me to death and it lasts for several minutes before it passes. I don't want keep experiencing that. It is miserable

thanks so much for replying. i was thinking that maybe something was wrong. i kinda didn't understand why i would have chest pain instead of stomach pain. weird.

I'm only about three and a half weeks post op and I'm already at a stall. I lost about 17 lbs in the first two weeks and now nothing. Is this typical?

I was saying "no way" as in "I'm amazed". I didn't mean it literally as in "there's no way that can happen" LoL! I've lost 20 pounds in less than 2 wks. So, it's definitely conceivable someone could lose 80+ in three months.
