  1. Yes, absolutely. I think food has a social element to it and my relationship with food is changing so much. I also feel like I'm focusing and thinking about food so much that it's abnormal. Not necessarily thinking about eating bad foods just thinking about food in general. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 189 GW 135

  6. Had to post these pics of my 9 week progress: Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  7. My surgeon said I could have steak at 4 weeks post op - inlaws were taking us out- I had filet and chewed the heck out of it and it was awesome! Every plan is so different. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  8. Sometimes I'll weigh myself when I get up and if I don't like it I'll weigh again a bit later and I'll be less. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  9. I regularly have at least one shake meal a day. When I'm feeling like I'm craving the wrong stuff I think 2 would get me back in track. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  10. Lots of variables affect our weight- don't be discouraged. Weigh again in the morning and see if it's real. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  11. Yes. I stalled for 2 full weeks now am losing again slowly. Stalled at 192.8 now I'm 190.2. I have started walking more though. And when I averaged my weight loss it's exactly what the dr said it would be- around 20 the first month and 10 each month after. I think we expect it to fall off because we are eating so little but that's not realistic I now see. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  12. I actually just took a small backpack with just a change of undies, makeup and tooth brush. I learned a long time ago that I always thought I'd read or do a craft but really when you're in the hospital rest is what you really need. I've heard people say they brought gas x strips but others say they don't work. I'd say less is more. You probably won't need anything. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135
  13. Lol! Sweet dreams! Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 191 GW 135

  17. I was sleeved on 7/22/17. we are surgiversary buddies, sort of
  18. I had a vanilla pure protein shake this morning for breakfast. for lunch I had a 2 ounce grilled chicken tender (leftover) that I sliced up with 1 ounce of shredded mozzarella cheese on half a Josephs pita pocket (just discovered these! 30 cal for half a pita and 3.5 g protein!) I had small gala apple and some rice crackers for snacks - should not have had the rice crackers - I took a short nap and woke up hungry and they were handy... they were 72 cal, 1 g protein and 14 g carbs - really shouldn't have eaten them. Not at all sure what I'll have for dinner. Right now I feel gross from the crackers - may just have a yogurt or some deli turkey and cheese.
  19. I am really fighting head hunger a lot now as well. It's got me scared that I'm not going to succeed to my goal. I'm picking up my activity and protein this week. I actually got over 60 grams for just the second time yesterday. I've also gotten serious about my vitamins. I had gotten chewables and hated the taste. I found some mini multi vitamins at Natural grocers last week and they are great. No trouble swallowing them. I'm taking one in the morning and one at night. I've started getting tired again as well, which is probably because school started last week and I set my alarm for 5:30 and I am not a morning person. I was so enjoying all the extra energy.
  20. I'm 8.5 weeks out and when I hit 1000 it's too much for me. My average now is 700 cal per day over the last month., but that's average because I have 3 1000 calorie days in the mix. For example, today I stayed completely on plan and have yet to have dinner - I've had 427 calories and 51 g of protein so far today. I'll probably hit my 700 average today and get another 10-20g of protein. I agree, for 4 weeks out for a woman 1000 seems like a lot if it's the average. I did have a 1000 day at 4 weeks out.
