  1. SW 319 CW 230 GW 160 I'm so excited. It's been 20 years since I've been this small. Yesterday I went on my first shopping trip. I kept gravitating to tge 3xl and it would dawn on me. I'm a size 16 now " GET OUT OF THE PLUS SIZE"! omg never thought I can actually wear things I actually want. Not just look at sizes till I found something. It feels amazing. Went from size 26 jeans and 4xl tops. To size 16 jeans and xl top in just 4 months. Victory! Best decision I've ever made for myself. No regrets. 3. I have only seen my nut as required to get surgery approval. I live in a rural area and I have to drive over an hour to see her and she doesn't file insurance so it's all outta pocket. I'm having no luck in finding one locally that works with my work schedule. So my question is do I really need to see a nut. I'm doing great with the weight loss. Down 110 lbs in 5 months.I could care less about food now. I'd rather have apples in peanut butter that anything else I can think of. I do realize I'm not getting enough protein and my hair is falling out. But I figure I can save a few hundred bucks and just use google.

Do I really need a NUT?

I've not had any trouble with sugars. No dumping. I do try to watch sugar content but I don't like the 1 gram sugar protein drinks. Gag. I drink mostly water. I do the 1/2 sugar oj. My typical day breakfast: 1 cup special k protein cereal +protein from milk. Or 2 strip of bacon Snack: slice of cheese and crackers Lunch: apple and a jif to go peanut butter cup Drink water l day at work Dinner: about 2 oz meat, a couple bites of veggies cooked in bone broth (extra protein ) More water And that's about it. I'm averaging about 5 lbs a weight weightloss. So I'm not sabotaging anything. 110 lbs in 5 months I think is awesome. But I do worry about the hairloss. It has been my one diwnside. Energy is through the roof so I'm not lacking energy. I feelngreat. And if 2 bites feels me up I quit. I could care less about food anymore. But I do want to make sure i. Getting enough of the right things in my body. So if anybody has any food suggestions besides protein shakes which I honestly won't do. They are so gross. I'd appreciate suggestions. Fruit?

I'm 5 months out and I eat apples and peanut butter pretty much everyday. I know it's probably not the best choice but it agrees, with stomach. The peanut butter is my protein and I make lunch out of it. I'm down 110 lbs so must be doing something right. I also drink trop 50 orange juice at least 4 days a week. It's my favorite 50% less calories and sugar. I think everything in moderation. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. Just got back today from the beach. This is my first trip since losing 100lbs. I was sleeved 6/22/17. I in no way have a beach ready body but physically I felt great. I don't remember the last time I was able to walk miles on the beach without pain, being short of breath, or just uncomfortable. Had a great time and felt great the whole trip. Even got to enjoy some gulf seafood. So glad I had the surgery. Last pic was taken at my daughters wedding the day before our trip. 14. I was sleeved 6/22/17. Recently I've had a major life changing event. Not in a good way. I wasn't aware that I was stress eating until I found myself googling how many calories are in a sleeve of Ritz crackers. I had polished off a sleeve a work on day. It was over a 10 hour span so I didn't realize I had ate the whole sleeve. (BTW it's over 500 calories ) I've lost 106 lbs but I've not lost 1 lb since this new stress has come to light. (One of my children was hurt years ago and I never knew ) all I'll say about the stresser. I've got to find a way to deal with this new info and not sabotage myself. My nerves, are shot and the first thing I turn to is my old friend food. I haven't been walking or working out. I have an office job so don't get a chance to move around a lot at work. And makes it easier to snack at my desk. I'm not gonna buy the crackers anymore. Has anybody got any ideas how to deal with major life stress. I'd hate to gain my weight back when I'm 50 lbs to goal. It's gonna be a long road dealing with what I'm dealing with. So I gotta nip it in the bud with the eating. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app

    Stress eating

Yes my child is in therapy. So I'm making sure he is ok. Then I'm gonna work on me. This is,something that happened years ago and he just now found the courage to face it. Now I gotta be strong and face my demon which is my relationship with food. So I can be strong for my whole family. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app

    Stress eating

You are right. I over ate last night. I didn't want to eat supper and I hadn't ate since lunch. So I decided to warm up supper at 10 pm . Big mistake. It sirt on my stomach like a brick. Had the foamies. Finally just had to get rid of it. Would have been better to go to bed empty. I've had stresses before but this has been more than most could bare (without details). Imagine the worst and double that. I think I'm gonna take everyone's advise about food and delve into therapy. I can't risk going backwards. Thank you for your suggestions. Stress eating

Thank you. I will try and get back on track. I gotta be strong for my kid too. I can't let this break either of us. I'm an all around emotional person. So I should have known I'd one day have to deal with the over eating due to stress. It was always there to comfort me. I'm gonna try and halt that way of 5hen king and push forward. Stress eating

Thank you. I really thought I had a grip on the emotional eating. I don't stop my family from eating what they want. I even cook it for them. Hasn't bothered me. But this new thing has turned my world upside down. I was like a drug addict with the food at work. Eating anything I could put in my mouth. We had mini kit kat bars at work and I ate 2 of those. Had a sleeve of Ritz crackers. A bite off a dough nut. But didn't want lunch or anything healthy. I knew then the surgery was no quick fix. I've had stress since my surgery and overcame it. Guess this just rocked my world. Thank u for all the advise. I know I can power through. I gotta be strong not just for me but for my kid too. 20. I'm my experience drinking from a straw gives me gas pains. I'm 4 months out and I avoid them. Gas pain is no joke. As for the sodas. I have not had anything carbonated till 2 weeks, ago at my daughters wedding I had punch that had ginger ale in it. Had terrible gas the next day. Guess we all live and learn. For me caffeine, carbonation, and straws are out. Down 100 lbs so I'm not complaining. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. I'm very happy with my progress. I was sleeved 6/22/17. SW 319 CW 213 GW 170. I'm almost to go and just can't believe it happened so fast. People don't even recognize me I've changed so much. Of course I'm thrilled with the compliments. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I've had no trouble with the weight loss at all. I could care less about food now. But it's the unspoken things that are rough. So get ready for TMI. in the beginning it was the gas. I was miserable. But once I got more active and learned what to avoid I've learned how to deal with that. Next is the hair loss. I have always had think curly course hair. Now it's super thin on top, falls out in hand fulls, it's limp. I'm trying biotin and the shampoo. So hopefully it will get better with time. Constipation OMG! gotta keep stool softeners on hand. Because what goes hand in hand with constipation hemorrhoids. Yikes!##&/#- lastly neck and back pain. It is not at all like it was 100lbs ago. Just found out via the chiropractor that when you lose a large amount of weight fast your body's equalibiruim gets off You carry yourself differently. So I suggest getting an adjustment. It has been my saving grace. Felt like I had a knot between my shoulders for a month. Lastly the saggy skin. I haven't figured this one out yet. My arms (bat wings) are saggy. My inner thighs and my butt is saggy. So if anybody has the answers to that one I'm all ears. My winter body covered up is great but this spring I will be at goal and plan one heck of a shopping spree. Since I'm averaging 20 lbs,a month ally clothes are pretty ugh second hand. Thank goodness for thrift stores. But once I lose all this I'm hitting the mall with a vengeance. So I'm up for any suggestions. I know this post has been graphic but hey don't just a book by its cover. I'm looking good on the outside but as you can see there are downsides. But I wouldn't change a thing. I feel great have energy and my confidence is back. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app

    Ring Size

I just lost my mother's ring I've had for years at the beach last week. It slide right off my finger and I didn't notice it till too late. I have lost 100 lbs in 4 months. All my rings are falling off my fingers. I'd suggest holding off. After 23 years of marriage I'll finally get my upgrade ring as soon as I hit my goal. 50 more lbs.
