  1. I just got sleeved 6/29. Walk around a lot! Like every hour for at least 5 min. It will help release the gas that's all in there.
  2. I had mine 6/29! Would love to be a part of a support group on here!
  3. I work from home so I only took 6 days off. I have energy for light cleaning and what not for about 15-20 min and then I rest. I had my sleeve 6/29/17 and have no pain or soreness as of today. I also drove for the first time since 6/29 yesterday. I did go to a 4th of July party and ended up napping on the ladies couch. You do what you can do. Good luck!
  4. 5 days! On the 4th day I took children's liquid stool softener.
  5. I don't think there's a right answer here but more about what you are comfortable with sharing. I have a pretty active social life and super supportive family (even when they might not agree) so I told close friends and family. I see it more as an accountability group...and support. Good luck to you!
  6. Oh my gosh these sound delicious! Would you be able to share your recipes?
  7. I had surgery 6/29. I cried this morning but I also hadn't taken children's Tylenol yet so I was feeling all of it at once. Ive spent the day walking around, reading, talking to friends about my progress via text and watching on demand shows. Find something to do and walk around a lot. Good luck to you!
  8. good luck! Mine is the day after yours! Hope all goes well for you!
  9. I took the plunge and scheduled my sleeve surgery. I spent all night last into the wee hours reading all the posts on here and WOW! Y'all are so helpful and supportive! Lots of unknowns answered for me, thanks! I'm a bit anxious for Thursday and the aftermath that follows but I'm ready! Can't wait to find the new me [emoji1323]
  10. That's fantastic! Congrats! [emoji322]
  11. Congrats on your success! I haven't had my surgery yet, just 5 days away. However, 8 years ago I had a breast reduction which left me with thick red scars. Fast forward to today and you can hardly see them. I'm sure yours will heal well with time too
